Tonight at Celebrate Recovery, I’ll be sharing a special message about the ripple effect of military service and the God who sees. We’ll also officially launch our new Welcome Home Spouses & Loved Ones Open Share Group.

Then tomorrow morning, we continue with our Welcome Home Community Event for Veterans, spouses, families, and loved ones.

There’s still time to register—and cost will never be a barrier. Walk-ins are welcome and no one will be turned away.

We’re just a couple of days away from our Welcome Home event, but there’s still time to register!

If you’re planning to join us, please sign up ahead of time so we know you’re coming—it helps us tremendously with preparing for everyone. Walk-ins are absolutely welcome and we’ll get you in, but registering in advance really helps.

🇺🇸 WELCOME HOME IS ON THE MOVE! 🇺🇸

This past week brought some exciting opportunities to see the mission of Celebrate Recovery Welcome Home continue to grow beyond the walls of the church.

Our team spent time visiting military installations throughout the San Diego area, continuing conversations about bringing Welcome Home Open Share Groups directly onto our military bases—and potentially aboard Navy ships. We now have three military installations actively continuing those discussions.

Think about what that could mean: bringing a Christ-centered recovery community directly to service members and military families where they live, work, and serve.

We also had the opportunity to visit Legacy Church in the El Cajon/La Mesa area, where their Welcome Home Open Share has officially launched! We’re excited to see another church creating a place where Veterans and their loved ones can find connection, understanding, recovery, and hope.

But the week didn't stop there.

📦 150+ CARE PACKAGES FOR DEPLOYED TROOPS

Welcome Home was also blessed to partner with Branches Military Ministry and MilVet for a military care packaging event. Together with an incredible group of volunteers, more than 150 care packages were packed and prepared to be sent to deployed service members overseas.

Each box represents more than supplies. It represents a simple message to someone serving thousands of miles from home:

You are remembered.
You are valued.
You are not alone.

From local churches, to military installations, to potentially Navy ships, and now to deployed troops abroad, we're excited to see where God continues to open doors.

Our mission remains simple: meet Veterans, service members, and their families where they are and remind them that they don't have to walk this road alone.

🇺🇸 Welcome Home on Mission

In addition to preparing for this week's Celebrate Recovery West Gathering Conference, our Welcome Home team completed our third advocacy trip to San Diego, continuing our mission to bring the hope of Celebrate Recovery to our military community.

Over the course of the day, we visited:

⚓ Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) San Diego
⚓ Naval Station Point Loma
⚓ Naval Base San Diego (32nd Street)
⚓ Naval Air Station North Island
⚓ Naval Amphibious Base Coronado
⚓ Naval Medical Center San Diego

At each installation, we had the privilege of meeting with military chaplains to share the vision of Celebrate Recovery Welcome Home and discuss opportunities to establish Welcome Home Open Share groups on military bases. Our prayer is that service members, veterans, and their families will have access to Christ-centered recovery and support wherever they serve.

The day concluded at All Peoples Church in La Mesa, where Regina shared her powerful testimony during Celebrate Recovery. We were also honored to introduce their leadership and participants to the Welcome Home ministry and the unique mission of reaching those impacted by military service.

What encourages us most is seeing how God continues to open doors. Every conversation, every new relationship, and every invitation to share the Welcome Home ministry is another opportunity to bring the hope of Jesus to those who have faithfully served our nation.

Please join us in praying:

That God would continue opening doors on our military installations.
For wisdom and favor with chaplains and base leadership.
That Welcome Home Open Share groups would be established where they are needed most.
For the service members, veterans, and families who are searching for hope, healing, and freedom in Christ.

The mission continues, and we're excited to see where God leads next. 🇺🇸✝️

For years, our Welcome Home ministry has been a place where veterans have found hope, healing, and community through Jesus Christ and Celebrate Recovery.

But we've also recognized something important...
