🦁 TRUTH TUESDAY 🦁

“Stay faithful before the lions come.”

Daniel’s story is one of the greatest examples of what it means to remain faithful when following God becomes difficult.

Daniel didn’t suddenly become a man of prayer when he heard about the lions’ den. He was already a man of prayer. His relationship with God had been built long before the crisis ever came.

When the king’s decree was signed, Daniel could have changed his routine. He could have stopped praying publicly. He could have decided that just this once, it would be safer to compromise.

But Daniel 6:10 tells us that when Daniel knew the decree had been signed, he continued to pray three times a day, just as he had done before.

He didn’t become faithful because the lions were coming.
He was faithful before the lions came.

And that’s an important truth for us.

We often want strong faith when we face a crisis, but strong faith is built in the ordinary days.

📖 Pray when life is good.
📖 Trust God when you don’t have all the answers.
📖 Read His Word when you don’t feel like you need it.
📖 Worship when everything is going your way.
📖 Stand for what is right before you’re pressured to compromise.

Because eventually, every one of us will face a “lion’s den”—a difficult season, an unexpected battle, a hard decision, or a moment when our faith is tested.

And when that moment comes, what we have been building in the quiet seasons will matter.

Daniel’s faithfulness didn’t keep him out of the lions’ den.

It carried him through it.

God didn’t abandon Daniel in the den. The same God who was with Daniel before the trial was with him in the middle of it.

🦁 TRUTH TUESDAY:
Don’t wait until the lions come to start building your faith.

Be faithful today. Pray today. Trust today. Stand firm today.

Your quiet obedience today may be preparing you for a tomorrow you cannot see yet.

🇺🇸 HAPPY LABOR DAY FROM RESTORATION WORSHIP CENTER! 🇺🇸

Today, we’re thankful for all those who work hard each day to provide for their families, serve their communities, care for others, and make a difference through the work they do. ❤️

Whether you work with your hands, serve behind the scenes, care for a family, teach, lead, build, protect, or encourage others—your work matters.

📖 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.”
Colossians 3:23

May we remember that our work can be an opportunity to serve God and serve others.

From our church family to yours, we hope you have a safe, restful, and blessed Labor Day! 🇺🇸❤️

Rest. Be thankful. Enjoy time with the people you love. And give God thanks for the opportunity to serve.

🌷 MEET THE MINISTRY: CINDY JOHNSON 🌷

This week, we’re getting to know Cindy Johnson! ❤️

Cindy serves as our Women’s Ministry Vice President and is also a part of our church choir, using her voice to worship and bless our church family. 🎶

📖 A Bible verse that means a lot to Cindy:
Isaiah 43:1-2

Cindy loves these verses because they remind her that God created her, formed her, and redeemed her. He called her by name and knew her before she ever knew Him. He knew exactly who she was and who she would become, yet He still accepted and loved her.

Most importantly, these verses remind her that God will never leave her or forsake her. ❤️

👑 Her favorite Bible story:
The story of Esther

Cindy admires Esther because she loved God and her people. She was strong and courageous and was willing to step up to help save the Jews and her uncle Mordecai. Esther’s story is a beautiful reminder that God can use ordinary people in extraordinary ways.

🏈 Her hobbies:
Watching ALL sports! 😄

❤️ What she enjoys:
Spending time with friends and loved ones, having those quiet conversations with God when it’s just Him and her, and singing. 🎶

We are so thankful for Cindy and the heart she pours into our church, our Women’s Ministry, and the people around her. We’re blessed to have her as part of the Restoration Worship Center family! ❤️

Be sure to say hello to Cindy in the comments! 👋💕

🔎 DIG DEEPER FRIDAY 🔎

“And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” — Esther 4:14

Esther was placed in a position she never expected, but God had a purpose for her being there.

Sometimes we focus so much on where we want to be that we miss what God wants to do where we are.

💭 Dig Deeper Question:
What is one thing you can do TODAY with what God has placed in your hands?

Maybe it’s encouraging someone, serving, speaking up, forgiving, praying, or simply being faithful.

Your “such a time as this” may be right now. ❤️
