We are excited to invite all the women and young women over 16 years old to our Women's Conference. It is Saturday February 22, 2025 from 10 am to 12 noon. There will be rotating classes (you can attend two - see flyer for details) along with a light lunch. For a service project, we are collecting new items for Primary Children's Hospital.

We hope to see all of you there for an enjoyable time to learn and associate with each other.

Murray Utah Little Cottonwood Stake
Dear Brothers and Sisters

This coming Sunday will be Fast Sunday for our Stake. In addition to any personal focus you may have for your fast this week, we have asked that each member join together as a Stake for a special fast. The purpose of this special fast is to provide strength to the members of our Stake and the Stake as a whole.

Over the past several years, there have been changes in our Stake and we have seen a steady decline in membership. We have seen many of our stalwart members move on to continue their ministry on the other side of the veil. We have also seen many good friends move out of our Wards and Stake as life circumstances have taken them to other places. Although the overall numbers in our Stake have declined, I believe that we still have great strength in our Stake. I am always amazed at the faith and commitment that each of you demonstrate on a daily basis.

As a Stake Presidency we have counseled with the Stake and Ward leadership about ways to seek help from the Lord to continue to strengthen our Stake. We decided that President Nelson's invitation to seek out "the one" would be the perfect way to enlist the Lord's help.

We are inviting each of you to join with the Stake tomorrow in a combined fast to seek out someone in your sphere of influence that you can bless. I believe that we will see miracles through our combined faith and fasting. These miracles might include: a renewed energy for missionary work, people returning to church fellowship after stepping away for a time, improved relationships within our families, a greater sense of unity and love in our neighborhood, decreased contention in our lives and an overall increase in the influence of the Savior.

I look forward to this opportunity to fast with each of you this weekend. Your faith in and commitment to the Lord is inspiring.

Please note: We have moved the location for our Quilt Tying project to the Brownstone Meetinghouse at 6410 South 725 East in Murray on Saturday, September 9th.

For those interested in helping at Murray Park with the tree mulching and trash cleanup, Utah's First Lady Abby Cox will be there to welcome/start the clean-up event with some opening remarks at 9:00 am at the Amphitheater Parking lot. Enter at 495 East 5300 South.

Also, please place any food/coat donations on your porch by 8:00 am on Saturday, September 9th for pick-up by our community youth.
