On Trinity Sunday, we are drawn into the heart of our faith: God is love.

In today’s Gospel, Jesus tells Nicodemus that the Father loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, not to condemn the world, but so that through him the world might be saved.

The Trinity is not a puzzle to be solved, but a mystery of love to be received. The Father sends the Son. The Son gives himself for the life of the world. The Holy Spirit draws us into that love and teaches us how to live as children of God.

This is the God we believe in: not distant, cold, or condemning, but a communion of love poured out for us.

May we live today as people who know they are loved, saved, and sent.

“God sent his Son into the world not to condemn the world, but so that through him the world might be saved.”
John 3:17

On Trinity Sunday, we celebrate the Church’s official recognition of the Trinity as the three “persons” of the one God -- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Pope Leo will be leading a Rosary for Peace this Saturday, from the Vatican. He has asked people from around the world to pray with him for an end to war and violence.

A Rosary will be prayed in St. Leo Church at 12 pm, Saturday, May 30, 2026. In union with Pope Leo, the intention will be for peace throughout the world. This Rosary will be prayed at the same time as those gathered in Rome will be offering their Rosary!

Please join us! If you are not able to join us in person, we encourage you to pause at some point in your day to offer a personal Rosary, or decade, for this intention.

Join us at St. Leo on Saturday, May 30 at 12pm to join Pope Leo praying the Rosary for peace.

Sharing Christ’s love with our community and creation.

Families from St. Leo Catholic Church spent time volunteering at the Doran Arboretum in Murray, planting and serving together in a spirit of stewardship, fellowship, and gratitude for God’s creation. What a blessing to witness parishioners of all ages working side by side and living out the Gospel through service.

As Pope Francis reminds us in Laudato Si’:
“All of us can cooperate as instruments of God for the care of creation.”

We are thankful for everyone who participated in this community service project, especially Dava Hayden, Horticulture Instructor and Arboretum Manager, for sharing her joy and knowledge about plants and nature.

If you would like to join us for future service opportunities, community outreach projects, or family volunteer events, we would love to connect with you. Please email us at [email protected] to learn more and be included in future projects.

Together, we can continue being the hands and feet of Christ in our community!
