I'm excited to announce that Dr. Clark Roush will be leading our congregation in song and will also be gracing us with a sermon this Sunday, June 14th while Andrea, Annelise and I are visiting my in-laws in Arkansas.

Dr. Roush, or "D.R." as his students affectionally call him, has served the endowed Chair for the performing arts at York University, where he also conducted the York University Choir, and was the Department of music chair. He has recently went into "semi-retirement" after serving more than 40 years on staff at York University. More than all of that, Clark has a passionate heart to serve God and others. I'm honored to call him friend.

If you're able to come and worship at Murray Christian Sunday, I know you'll be blessed for it!

Hello church family! Just a reminder that the VBS meeting is Tuesday at 7pm. Be there or be square! =) Seriously though, we would like to see all hands on deck for this- VBS was great last year hosted by our brothers and sisters at Murray Presbyterian Church and we want to continue on with this great legacy of cooperation between our churches. Big thanks to all who pour your hearts in to make it happen, and particularly to Joyce Swanson for heading things up this year!
