Church family, I wanted to post our weekly scripture readings again. I'm so encouraged that so many of you put aside some time each week for scripture reading.
Please read and keep in mind the following points as you read, which are expounded upon in each picture:
1. Context is King.
2. Look for Jesus in all of Scripture.
3. Read for transformation, not just information.
And remember:
1. Consistency beats intensity
2. Don't quit or be discouraged when you fall behind. Just pick back up with today.
3. Pray before you read.
Most of the lessons I do on Sundays will come from either the previous week's reading or the reading of the current week.
We are almost into the last quarter of or reading together. Whether you are starting this week, or you have been reading since January, please join us on this journey!
