On Thursday May 7, which is the National Day of Prayer, the church sanctuary will be open from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. for anyone to come in and pray. Pastor Sam will be there too if you want him to pray with you

Hey, Pastor Sam is taking a few vacay days and Clint Borcky is preaching tomorrow. The Murphysboro service won't be streamed but you can view the First United Presbyterian Church of Pinckneyville service at 9AM on Facebook.

We're back after the winter storm! Worship resumes this Sunday, February 8 at 10:45. We are also celebrating communion.

Unfortunately, as the parking lot is still snow covered, the Session and I have agreed to cancel the worship service for this Sunday. We are very sorry for this inconvenience. Once again, you can join the Pinckneyville service live on Facebook at 9 a.m.

Due to the upcoming severe winter storm and frigid temperatures, in-person worship is canceled for Sunday, January 25 for both First Presbyterian Church of Murphysboro and First United Presbyterian Church of Pinckeyville. There will be one online worship service for both congregations, to be streamed at 10:00 a.m. this Sunday on the First United Presbyterian Church page (see link below). So join us Sunday at 10:00 and otherwise just try to stay warm and safe!
