Blessed and solemn Memorial Day!
This remembrance of the sacrifices of our fallen service members has with it a bitter reminder. We have all tasted in some form restraint of a force greater than our collective selves yet, we have felt the burn to run as the mustangs do on the plains, to catch an updraft an soar like the eagle, or the calmly be sifted by the wind like a leak in the breeze.
We have been given a special reminder, a Word that tells us, reminds us that freedom just isn't free, no matter how progressive we become, how much we put it on automatic; freedom costs and this is a m enduring for all time and by all that tastes it's fruit. Fear is the foundation of our freedom, it births courage begets action, action that starts in heart and causes the foe to tremble at the very sound freedom's child.
Thank you to all the families of service members that gave all, to all the service members here today and the families that stuck with them; no ones knows the cost like those who with courage each fight to keep together the broken and emptiness of courage given for a freedom that many who receive it don't see the fibers woven so they can live it.
Be blessed this day, reflect upon that which has been given and joyfully look ahead to the freedom yet to be gained. Memorial Day - when a nation remembers it dead's and with commitment and passion strives to not regress but you press on ahead.
