We’ve started a news series called Pursue Jesus!
Last Sunday, they learned about a guy named Nicodemus and everything he did to see Jesus. Better yet, Jesus saw him, knew his name, and spent time with him. Jesus wants us to know him, because He wants to spend time with us!
Big Idea: I can know Jesus
Memory Verse: “When you look for me with all your heart, you will find me.” Jeremiah 29:13

Here are some of our upcoming events:
October 20: My Super Hero Friend
November 10: Cartoon Character Sunday

And if you want to do something really fun with your kids, the Murphy Fire Department will have an open house on October 12, Saturday, from 10-2. They will have popcorn and hot dogs.
I totally recommend this visit, it’s totally worth it. How amazing it is for the kids to show appreciation for those who work tirelessly to make sure we’re safe?

It was such a fun morning visiting the Murphy Fire Station! So much we can learn from those who serve us by putting their life at risk every day to make sure we are safe! Elevate Kids will be visiting the First Responders in two different Fire Departments tomorrow! It will be an amazing time where the kids will learn a little bit more about what they do and show how much they are valued and appreciated for all they do in our community. Our kids will have the opportunity to pray for the First Responders. It will be such a fun time!
