Unite 2019 – NV Buchanan Campus
We are so excited about Unite coming up next weekend. I’m so sorry for the inconvenience of not meeting due to scheduling conflicts. I wanted to you know about all of the details that are regarding Unite for both Middle School and High School students at our Buchanan Campus. So here we go for the information regarding Unite.…..
The reason that we will have two schedules is because we were at capacity last year and we thought that this was the best way to reach more students in our community. That is the reason why we are having 2 services per session. (1 for middle school and 1 for high school.)
1. Both Middle School and High School students will meet at 5:00 PM on Friday, February 15th at our Buchanan Campus located at 5977 Elam Rd. Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37127. (Middle School will check in and eat dinner in the worship center. High school will check in and eat dinner in the Portable.)
2. Middle school students will put their luggage in their host home or leader vehicles and will head to New Vision Battlefield Campus (1750 N. Thompson Lane, Murfreesboro, TN 37129. High school students will put their luggage in their host home or leader vehicles and will head to their host homes.
3. NO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS are allowed to drive at anytime throughout the weekend. Parents can bring their student and drop them off, or the high school student and drop off their car at the church.
4. If a student needs to leave early that is OKAY! We just need to know about it. Please text/ email me of where they are going and what time they are leaving and what time they need to be drop back off. This will help you know where you need to pick up your student and also where to drop them off. I can help you know where your student is going to be if you let me know this information.
5. 4 meals will be provided to your students. They are more than welcome to bring snacks and drinks if they would like. (Of course non alcoholic!)
6. Students will be placed in host homes who are New Vision Members. Also they have all been background checked as well. That is the same with our leaders as well.
7. DISMISSAL – Middle School will dismiss at 9:00PM on Saturday from the Student Center at Battlefield Campus. High School will dismiss at 11:00 PM on Saturday from the Student Center. I understand this could be a scheduling conflict for some parents. High School service will start at 7:30. If you want to pick your high school student up after service while you are there to pick up your middle school student. That is fine with me. If you want high school student to stay for the Unite Celebration Party then they can as well. Up to your discretion.
8. WHAT TO BRING: - BIBLE, PEN, NOTEPAD/JOURNAL, TOLIETRIES, DEODERANT, SNACKS, PILLOW, SLEEPING BAG, (PLEASE BRING MINIMAL DUE TO GETTING MULTIPLE STUDENTS
9. WHAT NOT TO BRING – LETS MAKE IT SIMPLE. IF YOU WOULDN’T BRING IT TO SCHOOL THEN DON’T BRING IT HERE.
Again, I’m so looking forward to Unite for our students. I’m specifically praying for God to show up in a mighty way. I’m praying students will take a next step in their journey for the Lord. That could be starting a relationship with Christ, baptism, getting into a small group, serving, call to ministry, go on a mission trip, etc. I hope that you will join with me in praying for these things.
