Yesterday we traded our normal gathering for a day at the park—sharing meals, making memories, watching kids play, and enjoying time together.

We’re thankful for every person who makes Avenue Church what it is. Community is a gift, and yesterday was a beautiful reminder of that!

How can we claim to have faith in Christ if we favor some people over others? - James 2:1

It’s our default human nature to have prejudice against people who are different than us. But, we’ve been given a NEW nature 🙌

We are able to love others more heartily when Christ in us recognizes the Christ in other followers, or the need for Christ in those who are not.
