Due to COVID-19, The Original Church of God East Castle Street will be unable to celebrate our Annual Pastoral Anniversary face-to-face with our congregation. However, we would be remiss if we did not take part in honoring our Pastor of 25 YEARS, Pastor Charles T. Williams, Jr.

HAPPY 25TH PASTORAL ANNIVERSARY to our Pastor and First Lady!! Attached below are some of the memories from last year’s Pastoral Anniversary.

East Castle OCOG Scripture of the Day:

1 A Psalm of David. The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. 2 The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. 3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth. 4 The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. 5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath. 6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries. 7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head. (Psalm 110, KJV)

Bible in a Year: Jeremiah 40–42; Hebrews 4

East Castle OCOG Scripture of the Day:

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: 7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. (1 Peter 1:3-9, KJV)

East Castle OCOG Scripture of the Day:

1 And the child Samuel ministered unto the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no open vision. 2 And it came to pass at that time, when Eli was laid down in his place, and his eyes began to wax dim, that he could not see; 3 And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the LORD, where the ark of God was, and Samuel was laid down to sleep; 4 That the LORD called Samuel: and he answered, Here am I. 5 And he ran unto Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou calledst me. And he said, I called not; lie down again. And he went and lay down. 6 And the LORD called yet again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And he answered, I called not, my son; lie down again. 7 Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, neither was the word of the LORD yet revealed unto him. 8 And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the LORD had called the child. 9 Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place. 10 And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth. (1 Samuel 3:1-10, KJV)

Bible in a Year: Jeremiah 20-21; 2 Timothy 4

East Castle OCOG Scripture of the Day:

6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. 7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. 8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. 9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. 10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. 11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. 12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. 13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. 14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. 18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. (John 17:6-19, KJV)

Bible in a Year: Jeremiah 18-19; 2 Timothy 3

East Castle OCOG Text Ministry:

Acts 2:21 - And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Not just a name, but a name that is above every name. Calling on His name is special. You might be calling on Him to heal, to take away sickness, to mend a broken hearted or to set the captives free. For when you call that name miracles are expected to to happen. His name is just that special, but most of all it is called to save us from our sins. Because when you call that name it puts the enemy on notice that you are not trying to solve it yourself, you have company in front of you. You have the Father, the Holy Ghost and most of all you have the son Jesus. Be blessed and when you call the name of Jesus expect something to happen! Pastor C.

East Castle OCOG Scripture of the Day:

14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. 15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. 17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! 18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee. (Psalm 139:14-18, KJV)

Bible in a Year: Jeremiah 15-17; 2 Timothy 2

East Castle OCOG Text Ministry:

Job 7:4 - When I lie down, I say, When shall I arise, and the night be gone? and I am full of tossings to and fro unto the dawning of the day. Have you ever had a night like this? You tried to go to sleep, but God would not let you. He had something He wanted to get across to you. He would not let go until He blessed your soul. Finally, when you dosed off to sleep, now it is time to wake up. Be blessed and know that God has a way of getting our attention. He didn't let you sleep too late, but He woke you right on time. I thank you Jesus . Pastor C.
