At Wednesday Night Together, we gather beyond the confines of our pews and classes and across generational boundaries to go deeper in our discipleship of Jesus Christ and our relationships with one another, our community, and the world around us! This Wednesday, WNT will offer a delicious meal at 5:00 p.m. followed by three new classes at 6:00 p.m.:

1) THE CATHOLIC LETTERS: James, 1 & 2 Peter, 1, 2, 3 John, and Jude
Led by Rev. Rickey Wade, September 9 – 30, Room 402/404

2) MAHJONG 101 Led by Natalie Beckman, September 9 – 30 in the Chapel, Room 502. Note: This class is FULL!

3) PER$ONAL FINANCE FOR YOUNG ADULTS
Led by Butler Touchton and Rick Clark, Sept 9 – 30, Room 503

This week's menu is Chicken Alfredo with Roasted Vegetables, Garlic Bread, Salad Bar, and Chocolate Trifle. All meals catered by THE SWEET ADDICTION

St. Mark’s will host a Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinic next Saturday, September 12th, 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. under the office portico. Remain in your vehicle and receive a Flu Shot, including high-dose flu shots for Seniors and Regular flu vaccines for age 8 up. COVID Boosters, Pneumonia, and RSV shots will also be available. Everyone is welcome, so invite your friends and neighbors, and remember to bring your insurance card if you have one.

The ancient Chinese tile game of Mahjong is having a massive resurgence throughout the country these days! Come and learn to play Mahjong in four Wednesday night sessions. Mahjong is a game with a little luck and a whole lot of strategy and problem solving. We will start with the basics and work our way up to playing full games. At Wednesday Night Together, we gather beyond the confines of our pews and classes and across generational boundaries to go deeper in our discipleship of Jesus Christ and our relationships with one another, our community, and the world around us.

You are invited to kick off a new year of WNT this coming Wednesday, September 2nd, and wear your favorite team jersey or team colors! Meals are served at 5:00 p.m. and cost $10 for adults; with children, youth, and college students eating free.

On Kick-Off Night, the meal is free for everyone—and who doesn’t like free? Our delicious meals are prepared by the women of The Sweet Addiction and served to us by our own United Methodist Men. Reservations can be made by calling the church office by noon on Mondays, or emailing [email protected].

After dinner, we’ll gather in the gym to play “Get to Know You Scrimmage,” a not-very-physical mixer game for all ages where you can win awesome prizes that will actually be gifts for our community. So make plans now to join us this Wednesday night and every Wednesday for Food, Fellowship, and lots of Fun, and bring a friend, your family, or a neighbor with you!
