Feeling overwhelmed? Remember that God gives us clear instructions to do the exact opposite of stressing and worrying. His Word is filled with promises of peace and rest.

'Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.' – 1 Peter 5:7
'Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.' – Philippians 4:6
'Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.' – Matthew 11:28

When the weight of the world feels too heavy, trust in God's perfect plan. He is our strength, our peace, and our refuge in every storm. Let go and let God take control. 🙏

Building Authentic Relationships: A Call to Genuine Friendship & Integrity

At Broken Pew Ministries, we believe that true friendship is built on a foundation of honesty, integrity, and love. In our walk with Christ, we are called to be genuine in all our relationships, whether at work, in our friendships, or within the church.

The Bible warns us about the dangers of gossip and encourages us to live with transparency and truth. Gossip not only destroys trust but also damages our witness as followers of Christ.

"Whoever goes about slandering reveals secrets, but he who is trustworthy in spirit keeps a thing covered." — Proverbs 11:13

Gossip can spread like wildfire, causing harm to both the speaker and the one being spoken about. It’s a tool of division and should have no place in our hearts or on our lips.

"Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear." — Ephesians 4:29

As believers, we are also reminded that everything done in the dark will eventually come to light. God sees our hearts and actions, even when no one else does. Let’s strive to live in the light, knowing that our integrity and truthfulness will be revealed.

"For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light." — Luke 8:17

Let us commit to being a people who speak life, who are trustworthy, and who build others up rather than tear them down. Together, we can create a community that reflects the love and truth of Christ in all our relationships.

Let’s choose to be genuine. Let’s choose to honor God in all we do.

Through the raging storms of life, when we feel like we're being engulfed by its challenges, remember that God is always just a call away. His promises never fail, His love never falters.

Psalm 107:28-29 reminds us, 'Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He brought them out of their distress. He calmed the storm to a whisper and stilled the waves.'

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. - Isaiah 43:2

No matter how deep the waters may seem, have faith in His plan. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us to 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.'

Let's anchor our souls in His grace and find peace in His presence.

The concept of the Trinity is central to Christian theology and describes God as three persons in one essence: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. Here's a breakdown:

1. **God the Father**: The Creator and Sustainer of the universe, often viewed as the source of divine authority and love.

2. **God the Son (Jesus Christ)**: God incarnate who became human, lived among us, died for our sins, and was resurrected. He is seen as the Savior and Redeemer.

3. **God the Holy Spirit**: The presence of God active in the world, guiding, comforting, and empowering believers.

**Key Points to Understand:**

- **Unity in Essence**: While each person of the Trinity is distinct, they are of the same essence or substance. They are not three gods, but one God.
- **Distinct Persons**: Each person of the Trinity has distinct roles and relationships. The Father sends the Son, the Son redeems humanity, and the Holy Spirit sanctifies and empowers believers.
- **Interrelationship**: The three persons work in perfect harmony and unity, with each contributing to the work of creation, redemption, and sanctification.

**Biblical References**:

- **Matthew 28:19**: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
- **2 Corinthians 13:14**: "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all."

The Trinity is a mystery that is ultimately beyond full human comprehension but is foundational to understanding the Christian faith and the nature of God.

Taking Time to Rest and Refuel

Friends, I've recently been reminded of the critical importance of taking time off to rest. When we grow tired, both our minds and bodies become more vulnerable to the lies and attacks of the enemy. It's in these moments of exhaustion that we must remember the wisdom found in Scripture.

Jesus Himself set the example for us. In Mark 6:31, He said to His disciples, "Come away by yourselves to a desolate place and rest a while." Even our Savior knew the importance of stepping away from the busyness to find rest.

In Psalm 127:2, we are reminded, "It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for He gives to His beloved sleep." Our Creator designed us to need rest, and neglecting this can leave us open to the enemy's deceptions.

When we are tired, our defenses are down, and we become more susceptible to negative thoughts and spiritual attacks. Ephesians 6:11 encourages us to "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil." This includes taking care of our physical well-being through proper rest.

As we go through our days, let us not forget the importance of rest and rejuvenation. By doing so, we can better guard our hearts and minds against the enemy's tactics. Let's commit to prioritizing rest, knowing that in doing so, we are following God's design for our lives.

Blessings and peace to you all. 🌸

In times of turbulence and uncertainty, let us anchor our souls in the unyielding grace and love of our Almighty God. His steadfast presence is our refuge in the fiercest storms, His unwavering love a beacon of hope in the darkest nights.

Scripture reminds us in Isaiah 43:2, 'When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.' Our God promises to carry us through every trial, every tribulation, ensuring our ultimate victory in Him.

Even as we face challenges that seem insurmountable, remember that our cries do not fall on deaf ears. Psalm 56:8 assures us that God keeps track of every tear we shed, holding our sorrows close to His heart. Take solace in the truth that you are never alone, for the Lord of all creation sees you, knows you, and loves you beyond measure.

Let this be a source of strength and comfort to you, dear ones. Trust in the Lord's unwavering care, for He is faithful to see us through to the other side. May His boundless grace and endless love uplift and sustain you through every trial. Keep the faith, for the Lord loves you more than you can fathom.

Yours in His service,
Pastor Bill

🧩 **God: The Master Puzzle Maker** 🧩

In our journey of faith, we often encounter pieces of our lives that seem mismatched or out of place. But remember, God is the Master Puzzle Maker. Every job, church, relationship, and experience ordained by Him fits perfectly into the divine blueprint He has crafted for us.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." - Proverbs 3:5-6

Just as light and darkness cannot coexist, neither can God's perfect will and our own flawed desires. We must seek His wisdom to discern what pieces truly belong in our lives and which do not.

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." - Isaiah 55:8-9

Let's not force pieces to fit where they don't belong, nor mix our pieces with someone else’s. Trust that God has a perfect and complete plan for each of us, and in His time, every piece will fall into place.

"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." - John 1:5

Seek God's wisdom, trust in His timing, and embrace the masterpiece He is creating in your life.

Blessings,
