“Simple Salvation” was the title of Sunday’s message in Kids Church! Our scripture came from Luke 23:39-43. “The thief on the cross.” We talked about what Salvation really means, and the price Jesus paid so that we could have it. We learned that Salvation is for everyone! No matter what age, no matter what color, no matter what we’ve done in our past. We’re only one prayer away from Jesus pulling us out of the pit, and setting our feet on a firm foundation! New Vision Kids isn’t a babysitting service, we’re not sitting in a circle eating cheese-doodles watching veggie tales. Every week kids are receiving encouragement, love and Faith-filled messages!

Kid’s Church!!! Raising up the next generation of Revivalist!!

As we continue to make our way through God’s Big Story today we’re in the book of Acts. In Acts, we can read the story of the early church. We’ve talked before about how Jesus died and came back to life. Jesus then appeared to many of His friends and
followers before He returned to heaven to be with God. But Jesus didn’t leave His followers alone! As Jesus promised, God sent the Holy Spirit to help them. Through the help of God’s Spirit, the early church grew. And Jesus’ followers, including Peter and John, were a big part of that.
The religious leaders were so upset that Peter and John were telling people about Jesus that they threw Peter and John in prison overnight! They told Peter and John not to speak or teach at all in Jesus’ name. You can imagine how that went over! They replied...
“Which is right from God’s point of view? Should we listen to you? Or should we listen to God? You be the judges!
There’s nothing else we can do. We have to speak about the things we’ve seen and heard.”
The religious leaders couldn’t figure out what to do with Peter and John. So in the end, they warned them again and let them go.

Peter and John were confident because they knew God was with them, no matter what. That’s true for you, too.

God is with you no matter what!!

And THAT’S why you can be confident!

This month's series in New Vision Kids Church is on the Holy Spirit. We believe that there is no "junior Holy Spirit". The Holy Spirit is available for all, even our kids. We are confident that the Spirit of God is with us wherever we go. We Believe!!!!
