Sunday Morning Sermon Reflection: "I Saw the Lord" ✨

Yesterday, we looked at the contrasting lives of King Uzziah and the prophet Isaiah (Isaiah 6:1-13 & 2 Chronicles 26:1-21). It served as a powerful reminder that while God blesses us when we put Him first, pride remains our greatest enemy.

Pastor shared a hard but beautiful truth: For us to see God, some things have to "die". Sometimes, it’s only when our earthly security blankets or seasons change that we finally look up and see the Lord sitting on the throne, high and exalted.

Remember these truths as you start your work week:

*If the outlook is looking down—look up!

*Hang in there. If you don't like the way things are, change is coming.

*Allow God to do the work in you first. We cannot pour into others what hasn't been worked into our own souls.

Let’s pray for an "Isaiah experience" this week—a fresh, holy vision of who God is that changes how we live.

Have a blessed week, church!

Excuse me, yes, hello... I'd like to cancel my subscription for May, please. 🙋🏻‍♀️❌🌧️☔

I know, I know...the grass needs it, the gardens need it, and God is busy at work watering the earth! Isaiah 55:10 reminds us:

"As the rain and snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater..." 🌱🌾

While we're officially waterlogged and dreaming of sunshine 🌞😎, we're choosing to be grateful for the growth happening under all those puddles.

Today we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice has given us freedom, an incredible gift we do not take for granted.

May we never forget their courage, their legacy, and the families who continue to carry their loss with strength and grace.

"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends."
John 15:13

Did you know Pentecost wasn’t a backup plan? It was ordained by God all the way back in the Old Testament. 💥

Today, we dove into Acts 2 and looked at the incredible precision of God’s timeline. Think about the contrast: In Exodus, when the Law was given, 3,000 people lost their lives due to disobedience. But on Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit was poured out with wind and fire, 3,000 souls were saved and the Church was born! 🕊️🔥

The Holy Spirit is here right now to do what He does best: point us directly to Jesus Christ. And what Jesus wants from us is fruit—He wants souls.

But to see that kind of fruit, we need a shift. We need a real turnaround, repentance, and a genuine fire in our hearts. Let's be honest: you won't get that kind of spiritual passion sitting on the couch watching old episodes of Gunsmoke. You get it by picking up God’s Word, which is the very sword of the Spirit. 🗡️📖

Tomorrow is never promised. Today is the day of salvation. If you’ve been waiting for a sign to turn back to Him and get serious about your faith, this is it.
