Hi everyone! We have another

✨ Pew Spotlight ✨

Meet Shannon!!

If you're looking for someone who brings equal parts laughter, hands-on energy, and die-hard Michigan pride to our congregation, look no further than Shannon! A faithful part of our church family since 2018, Shannon is an absolute hoot to be around and a true blessing to everyone she meets.

Whether she's working her magic on our fun hallway bulletin boards, diving head first into planning our annual Trunk or Treat, or bleeding maize and blue on football Sundays, Shannon's heart for service shines through in everything she does.

A few fun facts about Shannon:

🐾 The Ultimate Paws Squad: Shannon is a total puppy person with a houseful of love! She has two sweet dachshunds - Trooper, a 10-year-old long hair, and Watson, a 6-year-old shorthair - plus her grand pup, Nugget, who turns 3 soon!

🛠️ The Ultimate "Doer" & DIY Pro: Need something fixed? Shannon is your girl! She is a natural-born "doer" who isn't afraid to roll up her sleeves and take on any challenge—even if that means literally tearing apart a car door to fix it herself. If there’s a job to be done, nothing is out of the question!

🍁 Heart of a Servant: Shannon jump-starts so much of the fun around here! She is always willing to jump in wherever help is needed, making sure our creative projects look fantastic and our big community events like Trunk or Treat run seamlessly.

The Heart of Her Faith:
For Shannon, the sweet spot of our church is the tight-knit family feeling. She loves the warmth and closeness of our small congregation, where there is always someone ready to lend a helping hand or offer support when you need it most.

Lately, the verse that has been a steady light for her is Ecclesiastes 3:11: "He has made everything beautiful in its time." It serves as her reminder that God’s timing is always perfect, guiding every step of our lives right when we need it most.

We are so incredibly grateful for Shannon’s humor, her unstoppable can-do spirit, and the endless energy she pours into our church family. Next time you see her, give her a big smile, offer a "Go Blue!", and thank her for all the joy she brings to our community! 💙💛

📚✏️ Back to School Blessings from Murfreesboro First Church 📚✏️

As another school year begins, we want to lift up our students, teachers, administrators, bus drivers, and families in prayer. May this year be filled with growth, wisdom, kindness, and countless opportunities to shine God's light.

Whether you're walking into a new classroom, a new school, or a new season, know that you are loved, supported, and covered in prayer.

We are praying for a wonderful and blessed school year.

Two Dales. One Savior. One powerful reminder.

What a blessing it was to have two messages on Sunday that pointed us to the same truth: our hope, our identity, and our purpose are found in Jesus.

Sunday morning, Pastor Dale Turner shared from the Sermon on the Mount and reminded us that Jesus front-loads His blessings. Before He calls us to live differently, He reminds us who we are in Him. Character produces conduct, and when our cup is filled by Christ, it can be poured out to bless others.

Sunday evening, Pastor Dale Winton also shared from Matthew, where Peter stepped out of the boat and walked toward Jesus on the water. We were reminded that our situation is not an indication of our salvation. Jesus is our North Star, and no matter what storm we find ourselves in, the question remains, "In your situation, where is God?"

What a beautiful reminder that Jesus is always faithful. May we always keep our eyes on Him.

Happy Tuesday, Family.

Reminder tonight's service will be lead by Pastor Dale Winton! Many of you know Pastor Dale as our former pastor, and we are excited to hear what the Lord has laid on his heart. Since his time at our church, he has been ordained into the ministry and it is a blessing to welcome him back tonight.

Service starts at 5pm and we hope to see you there!
