As we prepare our hearts to come to the Lord’s Table, we are invited to do more than look back on our week. We are invited to look inward.

Paul reminds us that this kind of looking inward isn’t meant to happen only once a month. It should be done daily to remember that we are a redeemed and forgiven people.

In Exodus 20, God begins His commandments with these words: “I am the LORD your God…” Before giving His people instructions for how to live, He reminds them who He is—and who they belong to.
That same truth should shape the way we live today. Because we belong to Christ, we are called to live out the gospel in every part of our lives. We confess our sins, not because we are without hope, but because Christ is faithful and just to forgive us.

This week, take a moment to slow down and reflect.

Where have I wandered?
What needs to be confessed?
Where is God inviting me to return to Him?

And as you reflect, don't forget the joy of what is already true: you are redeemed, forgiven and you belong to Christ.

Jesus entered our brokenness, carrying our sins to the cross. He died the death we deserved, but then He rose from the grave. He returned to his frightened disciples, offering peace and a mission.

A reminder from yesterday’s sermon: Called.

“Therefore, go.”

Living called isn’t primarily about adding another thing to your calendar. It’s recognizing that wherever Christ has placed you is already a place where you are called to live His mission.

He didn’t place you there accidentally. You don’t have to be an expert or have it all figured out. Go. Love. Serve. Share Christ. Right where you are.

So this week, ask yourself: Where is my “go therefore”?

This week's sermon was from Matthew 28:18-20: CALLED.

Christian, whether you know it or not, you are called. God’s mission in you is to become like Christ. God’s mission in the world is to reconcile it to Himself through the Gospel. Pastor Jim challenges us to live into this divine calling of showing and sharing the Gospel in our daily lives. To listen to the sermon, click one of the links below:

You are appreciated. 🤍
Tonight we gathered to celebrate the people who faithfully give of their time, talents, and treasures to Munster Church.
We truly couldn’t do ministry without you. Every baby rocked, cup of coffee poured, piece of cheese sliced, meal served, lesson taught, Sunday morning welcome, and countless other unseen acts of service help us love God and love people well.

After dinner, our six committees gathered for training as we live out the 4C life—cultivating disciples, caring for one another, celebrating God together, and living called into Christ’s mission.
We’re grateful for every way you say yes—whether your service is seen by many or happens quietly behind the scenes.

Thank you to all who have volunteered in some way over the last year. Your willingness to serve makes a difference in the life of our church and in the lives of the people we’re called to love.
What a gift it is to serve His church together. 🤍

A little reminder is waiting for you this Sunday. 🤍

For the past few weeks, we’ve been learning what it means to live the 4C life — cultivating disciples, caring for one another, celebrating God together, and living called into Christ’s mission.

This Sunday, we wrap up the series with Living Called.

Join us and discover what it means to live called.

We’ll see you Sunday!
