On Sunday, we read from Titus 2:1-15 and found that God calls us to a life of self-control. Biblical self-control is the ability to say no to ungodliness and yes to godliness through the power of the Holy Spirit. This should change the way that we live and allow us to do the things that please God while refusing the things that displease him. All this is done through being filled with the Holy Spirit, which comes through abiding in Christ. If you’d like to know more about how to do that, let us know and we will provide a Bible study that answers that question. Have a great week!

If you’re not sure how to abide in Christ and would like to learn, we will be doing a five week study on “Abiding in Christ.” We will explore what it means to live out Jesus’ command to Abide in Him. Join us this Wednesday, and every Wednesday in September, at 1pm or 6:30pm.
