In Holy Communion, Christ comes so close that the saints dared to call it a kiss.

06/03/2026

As Jesus hung on the Cross, suffering for the salvation of the world, He looked down at His mother, Mary, and the Apostle John. Then He said, “Woman, behold, your son,” and to John, “Behold, your mother”
(John 19:26–27).

On one level, Jesus was making sure His mother would be cared for after His death.

John represents every disciple of Christ. In that moment, Jesus was giving His mother to all who follow Him. The same Mary who stood faithfully beneath the Cross now stands beside the spiritual children her Son died to save.

Notice that Jesus did this while giving everything for us. He gave His Body. He gave His Blood. He gave His life. And He gave us His mother.

Mary does not replace Jesus. She always leads us closer to Him. Just as she said at Cana, her message remains the same: “Do whatever He tells you” (John 2:5).

The question is not whether Mary is willing to be our mother. Jesus already gave her to us. The real question is: have we welcomed her into our lives the way John did?

Do you believe Jesus intended Mary to be a spiritual mother for all Christians, or only for John standing at the Cross?

Someone in your life may need to hear that they are not alone at the foot of the Cross. ❤️

On June 11, the Catholic Bishops of the United States will officially consecrate our nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. 🇺🇸

Devotion to the Sacred Heart existed before St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, but it became widespread through the revelations she received from Jesus in the late 1600s.

In June 1675, during the octave of Corpus Christi, Jesus asked that a feast honoring His Sacred Heart be celebrated on the Friday after the octave of Corpus Christi as an act of reparation for sin.

The Church gradually approved the devotion, and in 1856 Pope Pius IX extended the Feast of the Sacred Heart to the entire Catholic Church.

Today, Catholics continue this devotion through First Friday practices, Eucharistic adoration, and acts of reparation.

💬 Do you practice devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus?

The Twelve Promises of the Sacred Heart of Jesus ❤️‍🔥

1 → I will give them all the graces necessary for their state in life.

2 → I will establish peace in their families.

3 → I will console them in all their afflictions.

4 → I will be their secure refuge during life, and above all, at the hour of death.

5→ I will bestow abundant blessings upon all their undertakings.

6 → Sinners shall find in My Heart an infinite ocean of mercy.

7 → Lukewarm souls shall become fervent.

8 → Fervent souls shall quickly rise to great perfection.

9 → I will bless the homes in which the image of My Sacred Heart is exposed and honored.

10 → I will give priests the power to touch the most hardened hearts.

11 → Those who propagate this devotion shall have their names written in My Heart, never to be erased.

12 → The Great Promise:
I promise you, in the excessive mercy of My Heart, that My all-powerful love will grant to all those who receive Holy Communion on the First Friday of nine consecutive months, the grace of final perseverance. They shall not die in My displeasure nor without receiving the sacraments. My Heart shall be their assured refuge at that last hour.

📅 This Friday, June 5, 2026, is the First Friday of the month
✝️ This Month is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

A powerful, Church-approved devotion rooted in the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

What is it and why it matters:
In the 1670s, Jesus revealed His Sacred Heart to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, asking for Communion on nine consecutive First Fridays in reparation for sins against His Heart. This devotion was given to renew love for the Eucharist, restore reverence for Confession, and draw souls back to a life of grace.

How to practice it:
Receive Holy Communion on the First Friday of nine consecutive months, in a state of grace. Go to Confession if needed. Offer that Communion interiorly in reparation to the Sacred Heart. Miss a month and the devotion restarts. Receive with love, not routine.

June is the month traditionally dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus 🙏

As May comes to an end, let us thank God for the blessings, lessons, and even the struggles of the past month. Some prayers have been answered. Others are still unfolding. Through it all, God has remained faithful.

June is traditionally dedicated to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. His Sacred Heart reminds us that His love is constant, His mercy is real, and His invitation to return to Him never ends.

Maybe this is the month you pray more faithfully.
Maybe this is the month you return to Confession.
Maybe this is the month you stop putting God off until "later."

As June begins, let's place our families, worries, plans, and intentions into His hands.
May the Sacred Heart of Jesus draw us closer to Him and fill our lives with His peace.

💬 What's one thing you're trusting the Sacred Heart of Jesus with this month?

The truth needs to be spoken. Warriors, courageous individuals unashamed to vocalize what is true, must rise up and speak. What’s at stake is nothing less than immortal souls. And one immortal soul is worth everything temporal to save. The truth can save, and the truth can set free, but it will mean nothing to those who hear it if it does not come from a place of love. Love is the follow-through, the willingness to back up your words with action.
