Tomorrow afternoon we say our final goodbyes to MRS MILDRED LIPHAM, WHO passed away Monday. Mrs Mildred was 89 years young and a true inspiration to all of us that knew her. 's Mildred loved to quilt and she taught all of us so much. A gifted quilter, a servant of God and one of the most humble people I have ever know. The love and patience she had for our kid quilters will never be forgotten . Please keep Mrs Mildreds family in prayer . WE LOVE YOU MRS MILDRED AND WE WILL MISS YOU,BUT WE KNOW YOU ARE IN HEAVEN.

This memorial quilt made our hearts smile. Those pinwheels are made from actual ties worn by Rev. Willie Jordan Ashley. Thank you for letting us make this quilt for you. Every time we ironed these ties you could catch a smell of his aftershave/cologne. It truly was wonderful getting to share that piece of your story.

I hope the ornaments and wall hangings helped you all have a little something of his since there was only one quilt. God Bless Y'all.
