We welcome all to come join us as we celebrate our risen Savior. Easter Sunday is a most precious day because we know that our redeemer lives and that we can also have eternal life with Jesus in heaven. Sunday School begins at 10:00 AM with Morning worship at 11:00. You will always be welcome in God’s house. May you celebrate with your family and friends knowing that you never have to be parted after this life is finished and you live forever with the one who gave his life for you. (60th) year as East Sixteenth Street Separate Baptist Church.
Services begin at 10:00 A.M. with a welcome given by our Pastor
Brother Jimmie Hamm. Special singers will be Josh & Casey Sewell and Family from Taswell , Indiana. Lunch and fellowship will follow services in our Fellowship Hall. All are welcome. Past and present members along with visitors are encouraged to attend and share stories of the history of our church. As some of you may know forgive me for repeating.
June 23, 2021 the Lord called another soldier home. My husband Carl Heskett died around 4:00 PM. We were married just 1 month and 18 days shy of 48 years. Together we share 7 children, 20 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. God truly blessed us and our family.
Carl was friend to all and loved his family deeply. He loved his Lord and Savior most of all and is now reaping his reward. I desire your prayers as I try to navigate the time I have left on this earth. I want to do my Lord and Carl proud and someday hear our Heavenly Father say well done. Come on home. Judith Heskett

We listened to ministers messages online today but is just not the same. Remember to pray for your pastors and keep tithe money for when you return to your place of worship . Bills keep coming in even though we’re not there . If you belong to any club there are dues to pay. Belonging to a church you are to pay tithes for the upkeep of Gods house. Remember he is always there for you so you need to be there for Him. May you continue to enjoy the blessings of our Lord. Stay safe and keep praying. In Christ’s love. Pray for our sick, shut Ins and the lost as well as each other.
