We’ve been so proud of our community as many have united together to offer many types of help to those affected by the recent flooding in Delaware County. NorthPoint Church has asked the Lord to continue to guide our next steps in serving our community and He provided a partnership with On Mission Network to help with the post flood clean-up relief.

Later today, the On Mission Network team (from Virginia) will arrive to Muncie and will be housed at NorthPoint Church. They have already partnered with the Southern Baptist Disaster Relief Team (stationed at Old Town Hill Baptist Church) to provide more support with clean-up. We are incredibly grateful for the disaster relief teams already in place and they’ve been doing a wonderful job! We’re excited to get to serve alongside them!

Volunteers are needed to support their efforts! Daily volunteer slots are limited to 20 volunteers on weekend days and 10 volunteers on weekdays. If you’re interested in helping with clean-up relief efforts, please complete the information at the link below:

NorthPoint Church will remain open as a donation/distribution site and cleaning supplies, hygiene products and other household items are currently available. We will be open for distribution on TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS from 10a-2p.

If you are wishing to donate items, please call/text 765-717-3183 to arrange the drop-off. We’re very grateful for all of the donations already received! THANK YOU!! God is good and HE is our ultimate provider!

God is SO good! Once again we had the privilege of partnering with Convoy of Hope as they brought another truck load of bottled water and cleaning supplies for another drive through distribution, yesterday, at NorthPoint Church.

We were completely blown away by the volunteer response from local churches as well as Ball State Athletics who sent nearly 60 student athletes and coaches throughout the day to help with unloading the truck, loading the trailer and working the distribution line. It was also a great blessing to have the shower truck from Urban Outreach Indy and we were happy to provide showers to those who were in need.

Altogether, we had 93 volunteers give of their time and efforts throughout the day and the wonderful unity that was present during the distribution was remarkable! Volunteers from Union Chapel even brought their truck and trailer to be loaded with cleaning supplies to distribute on the south side of Muncie as well.

We wanted to give HUGE thanks to the incredible churches, businesses and community agencies who helped make this second distribution a great success:

Together, we were honored to get to serve 462 families within our community and were able to pray with many of the vehicles that drove through. Between the two distributions, united together, we served over 1,150 families within Delaware County. JESUS IS OUR HOPE!

As we move forward, NorthPoint Church and many other churches are still working with local community agencies to help continue to provide needed relief to our community. We love you and are praying for you, Delaware County! With the Lord’s help, we WILL get through this!
