Our Palm Sunday 2026 service featured a live performance of a song sung by Cody and Scott. Facebook decided this was a copyrighted performance and apparently decided to stop making the live of the service livestream available. it is how unclear if this going to stay the case or how we can reverse it so if you don’t see it posted that is why. our apologies.

A message from Deacon Marilyn:

During the Sundays in Lent, our lessons have taken us on a journey with the Israelites through some of the memorable stories in their history as God's covenant people, and with Jesus and his disciples as they bring new understandings and insights into what it means to live in that covenant with God and with one another.

At LCC, we've engaged in a mini Lenten journey. The sanctuary has been rearranged. It's unfamiliar territory. We are looking in different directions. It takes a little more work to worship. But that part of our worship journey will end this Sunday.

March 29 is Palm Sunday and the beginning of a different journey in the life of the church. It begins the observance of the week that for centuries has been called "holy," set apart from common usage so that attention can be given to the sacred stories and lessons that help us on our own journey of faith.

Holy Week is a week-long observance of the events in the last week of Jesus' life as Emmanuel, God With Us. The Palm Sunday worship folder is designed for you to take home. It will include scripture readings and prayers for each day of Holy Week for your personal devotions.

And, as a congregation, we will gather both Maundy Thursday (6pm) and Good Friday (8pm) for corporate worship. Take out your calendar and look at your schedule for Holy Week. Where will you make time to spend a moment on that journey with Jesus?

May our worship and our fellowship with one another, either in-person or via our page, be a blessing in your life as we seek to follow Jesus.

Blessings,
Deacon Marilyn
