University Christian Church

University Christian Church (UCC) is a church where "Christ is the Master and People Matter." By putting Jesus first in our lives, we are then better able to love, encourage and serve others. We are a non-denominational Christian Church that is fully committed to teaching and following God's Word as found in the Bible. Our purpose is: "Winning Souls and Nurturing Spiritual Growth" (Ephesians 4:12-

13). We are part of a great unity movement within the church of Jesus Christ called the Restoration Movement. We do not seek to be another denomination, for Christ does not want a divided church. Rather, we seek to unite all Christians by calling for a return to the faith and practice we see modeled for us in the very first church, described in the pages of the New Testament. What better model could we choose than that set forth by the apostles? UCC has been serving Christ in Muncie since 1929 and has been at our current location since 1979. The addition of our activity center provides a place for sports ministries, after school programs, support groups, youth events and other ministries for the community. God is doing exciting things in our midst at this time, and we eagerly anticipate His blessings on our future as we continue to make UCC a church where "Christ is the Master and people matter."
