Cemetery looks good for winter and the strong winds of recent days. Blown flowers were picked up and disposed of.

A group of volunteers came and the roof repair on the shed is nearly complete.
Mowing season is just around the corner.

Someone threw these rocks onto Block G in the new part of the cemetery. Not only are they unsightly but we cannot mow over these. I have cleaned them up. Please do not do this, it may seem like harmless fun but, it makes extra work for someone else.

We are noticing this type of fencing being put up around graves. This type is not allowed anywhere in this cemetery.

For any borders around graves, the office must be contacted to obtain a marking permit and to verify what you are wanting to do is permitted. We need to measure to ensure borderers are properly marked, so is not to get on someone else’s property.

Today I have picked up five of these trash bags of blown flowers that were not anchored down, broken glass vases, beer cans and bottles.

We are about to enter mowing season and we ask your help to keep your loved ones graves neat to make mowing and trimming easier.

01/21/2026

Please remember to check with the cemetery office before placing borders, gravel, etc. around a grave. There are some areas where this is not permitted. If your loved one is buried in Blocks G-J, the only thing allowed is the monument at the head or veteran's flat marker at the foot. No borders, no brick, no rock. Please remove these items if they are currently around your loved ones grave.

As always, please anchor flowers and no glass vases.

Thank you for your understanding.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Mark Pilman and Robert Alanis for volunteering their time to repair the roof on our shed at the cemetery. The wind has not been kind through the years and it is so nice to no longer see the sky from the inside.

Jeff Coffman also got a neat overview of the cemetery from the roof.
