Dear Willow Oak Family,
As Kim and I finally made it home, we find ourselves overwhelmed with a myriad of emotions. After twenty-one years of serving alongside you, the time has come for us to say goodbye. This journey has been nothing short of a profound blessing, and as we reflect on the years we’ve shared, our heart is filled with gratitude.
From the very first day we walked through these doors, we felt an immediate connection to this community. Together, we have celebrated joyous milestones—salvations, baptisms, weddings, and countless birthdays. We have grieved together, too, as we held each other up in times of loss and sorrow. Each moment has woven a tapestry of love and faith that we will carry forever.
We will miss our Sunday gatherings, the laughter shared over coffee, the deep conversations during Bible study, and the warmth of your smiles. You have taught us as much as we have hoped to teach you.
As we embark on this new chapter, please know that you will always hold a special place in our heart. We pray that the seeds we have planted together will continue to grow and flourish in the years to come. May you support one another, nurturing the love and compassion that defines this congregation.
We encourage you to embrace the future with hope and courage, trusting in God’s plan for each of you.
Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your lives. We will miss you dearly, but we will carry each of you in our hearts. May God bless you abundantly in all that lies ahead.
With all our love,
Pastor Scott & Kim
