There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13 (KJV)

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness. Indeed, we can count on You in all temptations. Please open my eyes always to see the way of escape in all temptations, and I will use Your Word to overcome all temptations to the glory of Your name, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

David had great relief when he confessed his sin.
In this psalm he encourages others to confess their sins as well:

Blessed is the one
whose transgressions are forgiven,
whose sins are covered.
Blessed is the one
whose sin the LORD does not count against them
and in whose spirit is no deceit.

“When I kept silent,
my bones wasted away
through my groaning all day long.
For day and night
your hand was heavy on me;
my strength was sapped
as in the heat of summer. is the one
whose transgressions are forgiven,
whose sins are covered.
