Areas within Elizabeth Ministry

Baptismal Gifts: Celebrates life by packaging and delivering a special gift to the newly baptized at their baptism. Elizabeth Meals: Provides meals to families in a time of need. Elizabeth Closet: Diapers, wipes, baby clothes and other baby items, big and small, available for families needing assistance during difficult times. We are here to help so please don't

hesitate to ask. Grandparents can check-out items to use when grandchildren visit. Playgroup: We are currently working on a playgroup where parents can interact with each other while their infants through preschoolers play together. Crisis and Family Support: We bring help where help is needed the most. Such as an unplanned pregnancy, single mom needs, sick children, sick parents or death in the family. One to One Ministry: Elizabeth Ministers share their experiences with another person or family who needs a listening ear and has experienced the same crisis or circumstance. This may include someone who has a special needs child or a woman who has miscarried. Prayer Shawl Ministry: Women of our parish spend time praying while knitting, crocheting or sewing prayer shawls. The prayer shawls are given to those in need of comfort during a difficult time. Rosebud Program: Roses of different colors, located in the church vestibule, identify families who need prayer support who are pregnant, celebrating birth or adoption, grieving miscarriage, stillbirth, abortion, infant or child death, or wanting to become pregnant or adopt. Remembrance Tree and Memorial Mass: Each year, from Christmas Eve until the Baptism of our Lord in January, angel ornaments are displayed on a Christmas tree located in the church vestibule. These angels are placed on the tree in remembrance of an infant in our parish who has died through childhood illness, stillbirth, miscarriage or adoption. A special memorial mass is later celebrated. Women and family support workshops/seminars: Our seminars/workshops are done on an ongoing basis to help support women and their families that have experienced miscarriage, fetal loss, divorce, ill children, problem pregnancies and more. Young Adult Outreach: Provides support & spirituality through cards, letters, and "goodie bags" to 18-28 year old parishioners who are attending college, in the military, working, or living in another state.

Are You Called to Walk with Women?
Become an Elizabeth Minister

Elizabeth Ministry is seeking women of faith to become
Elizabeth Ministers—walking alongside mothers and
families through the childbearing years and beyond. Like
the Blessed Virgin Mary visiting Elizabeth, we are called to
bring Christ’s love, presence, and encouragement to one
another. You do not need special skills—just a
compassionate heart and a willingness to serve. Training
and support are provided. If you feel called to this
meaningful ministry, we would love to walk with you.

Elizabeth Ministry's Meal Train
Share a Meal, Share Christ’s Love

Are you looking for a simple but meaningful way to support families in our parish community? Elizabeth Ministry invites you to be part of our Meal Train Ministry—providing home-cooked meals to those in need of extra love and care.

Families may need support during times such as welcoming a new baby, recovering from surgery, illness, or grieving the loss of a loved one. A meal can be a powerful reminder that they are not alone.

We are seeking volunteers willing to occasionally prepare and deliver a meal. Your small act of kindness can make a big difference.
To sign up or learn more, please email [email protected].

Do you know a family who could benefit from meals? Elizabeth Ministry volunteers are ready to help. Please call 262-844-7658 or email [email protected].
