Our church has over 1,500 members, most of us coming from Ukraine.
In the last two months, we have collected over $100,000 in humanitarian assistance (monetary, food, medications, and other donations) and this is without counting the clothes (the value of which is difficult to estimate). We are sending our financial and humanitarian aid assistance to Lviv, Rivne and Chernivtsi; and there, this aid is distributed to Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, and Donetsk regions.
We are having a fundraiser event in the dining hall of our church at 5pm on Sunday, May 15th. Ukrainian Counsil or Vice Counsil will be in attendance, and we anticipate our Mukilteo mayor and local representatives/senators, as well as a local newspaper reporter. We are asking everyone with a desire to help support Ukraine to join us for this event, as well as share it with your employers, colleagues, neighbors, and friends.
