To Our 17 Incredible Volunteer Coaches — Thank You.
As we wrap up another amazing East Valley Athletics soccer season, we want to pause and recognize the people who made it all possible.
Our coaches.
Seventeen men and women who chose to give up their time, their evenings, their Saturdays, their energy, and their voices to invest in the lives of kids throughout our community.
What many people see on game day is soccer.
What we see is so much more.
We see coaches arriving early and staying late.
We see encouraging words after mistakes.
We see patient instruction during difficult moments.
We see adults modeling character, teamwork, perseverance, and respect.
We see people choosing to serve when it would have been easier to sit on the sidelines.
This season wasn't built by one person. It wasn't built by one church. It wasn't built by one organization.
It was built through collaboration, communication, and a shared commitment to our kids.
Every practice, every game, every conversation, every problem solved, every schedule adjusted, every text message answered, and every challenge worked through together helped create something special.
One of the things that made this season successful was the willingness of our coaches to communicate well, support one another, and keep the mission bigger than themselves. Not every season is perfect. Not every day is easy. But when people are committed to working together with humility, grace, and a heart to serve, amazing things happen.
Because of you, children learned new skills.
Because of you, friendships were formed.
Because of you, confidence was built.
Because of you, families found community.
Because of you, kids had adults cheering for them, believing in them, and helping them grow.
The impact you made goes far beyond wins, losses, goals, or standings.
You helped shape young lives.
That is Kingdom work.
That matters.
So from all of us at East Valley Athletics and River Church of Moxee:
Thank you for serving.
Thank you for sacrificing.
Thank you for leading.
Thank you for encouraging.
Thank you for believing in our kids.
And thank you for proving once again what can happen when a community comes together around a common purpose.
