In a context of devastation caused by hatred, our weapons are love and compassion. This is having a profound effect on others (John 13:35).
If you or your church are able and would like to join with us to provide help, care, and encouragement, please do so by giving through the ACTION website or your local ACTION office. Thank you.

And here is an update from one of our workers in Ukraine:
While there are many Ukrainians who have been able to flee West towards other borders and to camps, there are many who were unable to leave due to lack of a car, finances, and vulnerable family members at home. Now many, who were already counted among the marginalized of Ukraine, are stranded in a country now besieged by war. Without the ability to work under peaceful conditions and no savings, they do not have the ability to purchase essential items such as food and medical supplies. They also cannot pay their rent or other bills, in addition to bearing the burden of the enormous cost and threat of war.
These relief funds will help support the relief efforts on the ground through a local church in a southeastern Ukrainian city to provide essentials, such as food, clean drinking water, and medical supplies, for both the church and the poor, vulnerable, and now war-struck people. Matthew 25:35-36 (NIV) says; “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’” ??Every day our church is receiving more requests to help with food and essential supplies. By helping to care for the most vulnerable, we are showing Christ’s love and care in a time of deep suffering.
Thank you for your willingness to give toward the compassionate ministries of the local church in Ukraine and for your fervent prayers, which make it possible to provide hope and help on the ground in the name of Christ.
