the damaged cemetery sign (on the right) was replaced about 4 months ago with a new sign. Last weekend, the new sign was vandalized & removed. IF you have any information about what happened or where the sign might be found, please let us know.

Sunnyland Cemetery looks much nicer after the clean up work done on Sat. Big Thank You to Griffin Goodnight for mowing and w**d trimming! Bonita Goodnight and Larry Morgan for raking & cleaning up leaves & debris. Even more could have been done if more folks would show up to help care for graves of deceased loved ones or those who have reserved a burial plot.

The Sunnyland Cemetery Board would like to thank our community for attending our First Annual Community Chili Supper and Pie Auction. We are grateful for each person that came out. We loved getting to meet new neighbors and visiting with old ones!!

A special thank you to Simmons Bank for donating sodas, ice, cheese, crackers, and to Valerie Stair for coming to help set up. Thank you to Centennial Bank for donating hotdogs and bottled water, First Service Bank for donating hotdog buns and shredded cheese, and Remax Edge Realty & Edge Rentals for the bounce house and flyers. Thank you to Benny Kocher for donating your time as our auctioneer. Thank you to all the wonderful people in our community who made desserts and chili and to the Sunnyland VFD for use of the building and donating paper supplies.
