I could have never imagined how closely God and all of his people were watching and waiting...
My name is Nicholas Nguyen and this is a little bit about my family, I, and our journey with God.
In my darkest hour, when all I'd ever hoped for seemed lost, I saw a light. God reached down into the pit of darkness that I was in and with the people. He surrounded me with, pulled me out. Since coming to Kingdom Life Recovery, my life has taken a complete 180° turn from running into darkness, to running towards the light. The devil had his hooks in me, and it would have been so easy just to let it happen, as I always have in my life. But God said not this time! I almost lost my family but through diligently seeking God in everything I do everyday,he has seen fit to give them back to me. My relationship with God has improved, and thus so has my relationship with my wife and in that,also my relationship with my children. My family and I have attended Ava Assembly of God for almost three whole years now and they have helped us all to see what the love and grace of God truly looks like. God used Ava Assembly and Kingdom Life as a hedge of protection around my family and I to bring us all back into the light. Through all of it God has changed so much in my life. He's taught me patience, kindness, how to lead by serving, and God also gave me the strength to get and remain sober and to quit smoking. God is so good and I can't wait to see what other extraordinary changes happen in my life as I follow him and seek his face everyday. I thank God everyday for counting me worthy of spending so much time on and with.
