We read stories in the Bible of people who were worshipping idols and false gods. We sometimes wonder, "how can they fall for that". Surprisingly, not much has changed. Many people are worshipping false gods without even realizing it. Who is this false god? How are people worshipping it without even knowing it? The god of Baal is alive and thriving in our world today.
Join us this Sunday (5-31-26) at Forest Dell Community Church to find out. We will Worship the One True God through song, a Communion Time, and a study of His Word. Everyone is welcomed, it all starts at 9:30 am.

When a farmer or a gardener puts a seed in the ground, they expect that plant to grow and be productive, to be a benefit for the farmer and many others.
Jesus used this thought describing the Kingdom of God. He used a small mustard seed to illustrate the Kingdom of God in Mark 4:30-32. What does Jesus mean when He said "the Kingdom of God is like a mustard seed"? We'll explore this description and see how this applies to us.
In our Bible study following our worship time, we are in Daniel chapter 8. Daniel has another vision about nations rising and falling, and how they lead to the coming Antichrist, and where he will come from. This is a fascinating chapter.
Come and join us this Sunday (5-16-26) You'll be glad you did. It all starts at 9:30 am.

Mother's Day 2026. We will be honouring our mother's this Sunday (5-10-26) as we look at some examples in the Bible of good mother's, and how mother's shape the world. Mother's, you do hold the world in the palm of you hand. No matter your age, mothers are always an influenceโ€ฆ Always an inspirationโ€ฆ Always a trusted resourceโ€ฆ Because of that, you have a God given responsibility of shaping the world through your children.
Come and join us at Forest Dell Community Church to worship our Lord, have a time of communion, and study God's Word. It all starts at 9:30 am. Anyone and everyone is invited to join us.

Have you ever had a time when you thought God is asking you to do something? Maybe something that is out of your comfort zone? Like lead a Bible study, teach a 3rd grade Sunday School class, or a High School class? Or maybe He's asking you to go talk to someone that is going through some hard times, and they need Jesus? Or maybe He's asking you to go on a mission trip to Mexico, or Africa, or maybe to New York City? Maybe He's asking you to go help your widowed neighbor fix her roof, or clean up her yard, or just sit with her on the front porch and visit?
I could go on and on with examples. The point is, what is your answer? Most often our answer is, "Oh, I can't do that, I don't know how".
Would God be asking you to do something that you can't do? Why would God send someone to do something that is incapable of doing it? ๐—›๐—ฒ ๐˜„๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—น๐—ฑ๐—ป'๐˜! If God is asking you to do something, trust Him to equip you with what you need to do it. ๐—›๐—ฒ ๐˜„๐—ถ๐—น๐—น!
God has gifted every single person with a skill or talent to serve others and serve Him. Do you believe it?
We will be exploring this topic this Sunday (5-3-26) at Forest Dell Community Church. We will Worship in song, Worship in Communion, and Worship in Bible study. It all starts at 9:30 am.

It was Forest Dell Community Church turn at the nursing home today. We sang a bunch of old hymns the residents could sing along with us. We shared the Word of God from Psalm 139 with them. It's always a good time with those folks. I love my church family. There was a few more of us in the back with some of the residents.

It's not easy asking for help. Most of the time our pride keeps us from admitting we need help. However, when our back is against the wall, and we are in a desperate situation, our pride begins to dissolve.
There's a story in the Bible about a widow and her two sons that were in a desperate situation. She went to a man she knew she could trust, and he told her what to do, it was a miraculous solution to her problem. She believed him, had faith in God, and acted on that faith, and it worked. It's an incredible story with many life lesson's for us today.
This Sunday (4-26-26) we will be looking at this story in 2 Kings 4, to see what we can learn, and use in our life today.
If your in a desperate situation, afraid to ask for help, or your pride is in the way, come to Forest Dell Community Church Sunday morning at 9:30 am to learn the 6 life lessons in this story. You will receive a warm welcome, I guarantee it.

Have you ever thought or said, "I wish God would just show up in person and tell me what He wants me to do"? I know I've said that.
If He did, would we do what He asks us to do? Or, would we be like Moses and give Him a bunch of excuses, telling God how we aren't good enough, or smart enough, or nobody will believe me...
I'm pretty sure God already knows everything about us, and if He is asking us to do something, then He knows we are capable of doing it. The problem is us, not God.
God has already asked us to do some very simple things, like go to church: Hebrews 10:24-25. Read our Bible: 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Acts 17:11, Psalm 119:11. Spend time in prayer: Matthew 6:6, Philippians 4:6-7, 1 Thessalonians 5:17. If we can't do these basic things, why would God ask us to anything else? My point is stop making excuses.
It all comes down to faith. Do we believe God? Do we believe His Word? Do we believe that He will equip us with what we need to accomplish whatever He asks us to do?
This Sunday (4-19-26) we will be looking at Moses and the 5 excuses he gave to God why he couldn't go and lead the Israelite people out of bo***ge in Egypt. We use these same excuses today. Do you want to be closer to God? Have a stronger faith in God? Feel His presence everyday? Then trust Him, no matter what.
Come worship with us at Forest Dell Community Church, at 9:30 am.

Sunday, 4-12-26, is the 4th Sunday to "Go to Church in Memory of Tracy Henry". If you already go to church, then it's "Bring a Friend to Church Sunday in memory of Tracy Henry".
We miss Tracy Henry at Forest Dell Church. However, it has been comforting that his pew has been full every Sunday since his passing. It was his desire to keep his pew full. He wanted people to come to church with him. More importantly, he wanted people to know Jesus, to experience first hand the Love, the Grace, the Mercy, that Jesus has to give to everyone who will follow Him.
On behalf of Tracy Henry, will you go to church somewhere on Sunday? You will be welcomed at Forest Dell Community Church, no matter who you are. Church starts at 9:30 am. See ya then.

Have you ever went to visit someone who said that they would help you with a problem you have? You have this scenario all played out in your head how its gonna go, what they will do, what they will say, and how it's all gonna work out. And when you get there it doesn't go anything like you thought it would. They don't even greet you at the door. A message is sent by another friend to tell you what to do to fix your problem. They didn't even give you the time of day! Then the message makes absolutely no since, not anything like you expected.
What's your reaction? Are you walking away mad? Or are you willing to at least give it a try?
Join us this Sunday (4-12-26) as we look at a Bible story like this and see how all this all worked out for Naaman. We'll see if we can learn a life lesson from this story.
We'll see you at 9:30 am at Forest Dell Church.
