Jesus didn’t need disciples. But He chose them anyway. He called them to participate in His mission and gave them real responsibility. He empowered them to lead and take ownership. That’s not just a ministry strategy. It’s how men are made.

But in today’s world, many boys are growing up without men who show them the way. They’re missing the challenge, the weight, the work that shapes boys into godly men. The Church doesn’t need another program. It needs a place where masculinity is forged through brotherhood, challenge, and trust.

In Trail Life USA, that’s exactly what’s happening. Men don’t sit on the sidelines—they walk shoulder to shoulder with boys. They hike. They build fires. They pray. They teach boys valuable skills. And in the process, they raise up a generation that knows what strength looks like, because they’ve seen it lived out.

God loves using men to do His work. Men are not just part of God’s method. Men are the method.
