What an incredible moment we witnessed! Tyler took a bold step of faith, publicly declaring his trust in Jesus Christ through believer's baptism. As a young man joining our church family for the very first time, his testimony reminds us that it's never too early to say "yes" to Jesus.

Baptism isn't just a ritual - it's a powerful statement. It's being buried with Christ and raised to walk in newness of life. It's declaring to the world that Jesus alone is your Savior.

God doesn't call the qualified—He qualifies the called. In Judges 3, we meet Ehud, a left-handed man in a culture that saw this as a weakness. Yet God chose him to deliver Israel from 18 years of bo***ge.

The real enemy wasn't King Eglon. It was the idols in their hearts. Sound familiar? We make idols out of good things—careers, money, relationships—turning them into ultimate things. But God's merciful judgment breaks our cycle of sin, calling us back to Him.

Here's the beautiful truth: Where the Old Testament shows temporary deliverance, Jesus brings eternal freedom. On the cross, God's judgment and love intersected perfectly. He took your judgment so you could receive His righteousness.

This morning, cry out to the Lord. He uses weak people, prepared people, and humble people. The question isn't whether you're qualified—it's whether you're willing to let God work through your weakness for His glory.

Which chair are you sitting in today?

This Sunday we explored a powerful truth: God remains faithful even when we aren't. Through the book of Judges, we see Israel caught in a cycle of sin, oppression, crying out, and deliverance. Sound familiar? We still struggle with wandering hearts and hidden idols.

But here's the beautiful resolution: Jesus bridges the gap between God's holiness and His faithfulness. Through the new covenant sealed in His blood, our hearts are transformed from the inside out. We no longer obey out of fear or obligation—we obey because we don't want to hurt our Father who loves us so deeply.

The question isn't whether you have to obey. It's whether your heart has been changed so that you GET to obey. Are you sitting comfortably in your sin, or are you surrendered and fighting for closeness with God? His faithfulness invites you to chair three—total surrender and joy in Him.

Chair 1: Lost and searching Chair 2: Saved but comfortable with compromise Chair 3: Fully surrendered and fighting against idols

In Judges 3, we see Israel's repeated cycle of disobedience and God's faithful deliverance. The tension between God's holiness and His faithfulness seemed impossible to resolve—until Jesus.

Through the new covenant in His blood (Luke 22:20), Jesus resolved what the law couldn't fix. He changed our hearts from the inside out. Now obedience isn't about fear—it's about not wanting to hurt our Father who loves us so deeply.

You don't HAVE to obey. You GET to obey.

Jesus paid the price for your sin, walked the bloody path for you, and offers you a transformed heart through the Holy Spirit. Move from chair 2 to chair 3 today. Let Him show you the idols you need to surrender.

In our new series "Faithful," we're diving into the book of Judges where Israel's small compromises led to devastating consequences. They defeated their enemies but didn't fully obey God. They negotiated instead of surrendered. One generation later, their children didn't even know the Lord.

Here's the truth: It's not that you can't forgive, give, or obey—it's that you won't. But Jesus breaks the cycle. He doesn't just deal with external symptoms; He transforms your heart from the inside. And even when you're unfaithful, He remains faithful.

It starts with a small compromise—just one "little" exception to what God asks. But like a tiny crack in a windshield, that compromise spreads until it costs us more than we ever imagined.

This Sunday we began our new series "Faithful" in the book of Judges. Israel thought they had a better plan than God's instructions. They negotiated instead of obeying. They said "I can't" when the truth was "I won't." And one generation later, their children didn't even know the Lord.

Here's the good news: Jesus breaks the cycle. He doesn't just deal with external problems—He transforms our hearts from the inside out. He stays faithful even when we're not. What is God asking you to surrender completely instead of negotiating? He's not trying to steal your joy—He's protecting you from consequences you can't yet see.

Ever wonder what makes life truly fruitful? It's not about being in the right place at the right time or working harder. This Sunday, we discovered that a prosperous, deeply meaningful life flows from one source: God's Word.

Just like Jesus declared in Matthew 4:4, "Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God." When we position ourselves before Scripture daily, something powerful happens. God reveals Himself, feeds our souls, and renews our minds. We don't just read words on a page—we encounter the living God who wants to speak directly into our lives.

The invitation is simple: spend 10 minutes a day with God in His Word. Ask three questions: What does this say about God? What does this say about me? What should I do now? When you come hungry and expectant, you'll find the life and joy you've been searching for.

"Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God." - Matthew 4:4

What if the life you're searching for is found in the pages you've been skimming past? This week we explored Psalm 1 and discovered that a fruitful, prosperous life isn't about luck or hard work alone—it's about delighting in God's Word day and night.

Just like a tree planted by streams of water, we flourish when we're rooted in Scripture. The Word doesn't just inform us—it reveals God Himself, feeds our soul, and renews our mind. It's not about checking a religious box; it's about positioning ourselves before the living God who still speaks through these ancient pages.
