Be ye doers of Gods Word not hearer only.

We can listen to preacher's and read our Bible's twenty four seven, but it would not do any good if we don't obey what we hear and read. "But be ye Doers of the Word and Not Hearers Only, deceiving your own selves" (James 1:22). We must obey what the Bible teaches. Our life is an open book for others to read. Can they read Jesus in you?

Are we making a difference in anyone's life? God wants all believers to have an impact for Him in the lives of others, how? He expects us to use the abilities and opportunities He has given us. Where do we begin? Right where we are. Brighten where you live. "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 5:16). Think of yourselves as soldiers, "Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil" (Ephesians 6:11). We should have our Belt of Truth, Breastplate of Righteousness, on our feet the Gospel of Peace to help us stand strong, Shield of Faith, Helmet of Salvation, and the Sword of the Spirit which is the Bible the Word of God. But don't forget verse 18 "PRAYING always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints." Life is a battleground. Satan will do everything in his power to try to stop you because he knows a PRAYING CHRISTIAN can mean danger for his plans. So stand strong and never give up.
