You don’t have to walk through these doors pretending to have it all together.
You don’t have to put on a perfect appearance.
You can come tired. You can come broken. You can come searching. And, you can come barefooted!

Come as you are.

Just like Moses stood on holy ground and was told to take off his sandals, there are moments when God simply asks us to stop, slow down, and recognize that He is here.

“Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”
— Exodus 3:5

Leave the burdens at the door.
Come find rest.
Come find Jesus.

Are you searching for a little light in a dark season? Maybe your heart is tired and you’re longing for peace? Maybe you need healing, hope, or simply a place where you can be accepted just as you are?

Jesus said, “I am the light of the world.” — John 8:12

And He also said:

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

“Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: but whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.” - John‬ ‭4‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

He sees us where we are.
He knows our story.
He knows our disappointments, our failures, our questions, and our deepest thirst.

And He still says, “Come.”

Have you been trying to fill your life with things that never truly satisfy?

The well is still open.
The water is still living.
And Jesus is still calling.
Come just as you are.

"Blessed are those who are called." — Revelation 19:9

Looking back at my notes from last Sundays service, the biggest takeaway was simple: get back to the basics. In a world that is constantly shifting, the altar never changes. His power, wisdom, and invitation are always standing open.

Life can leave us feeling worn, weathered, and carrying more than we should. Yet when we rest on the Solid Rock, we find hope, peace, and purpose.

No matter where you’ve been or what you’re carrying, there’s room for you here.

We gathered together and prayed.

“Lord, send the harvest.”

We prayed for hearts to be open.
For families to come.
For children to know the love of Jesus.

And then…

God answered.

One pair of little feet at a time,
they walked through these doors.

Each step represents a child loved by God.

Each footprint reminds us that the harvest truly belongs to the Lord.

Lord, may Your light always shine through these precious children.

May they grow in wisdom,
walk in Your truth,
and follow Jesus all the days of their lives.

May they become a light in their homes,
their schools,
and their communities.

To God be all the glory.

💛☀️ Can we give a HUGE shoutout to our incredible VBS volunteers and teachers? ☀️💛

For five straight nights, they faithfully served through the heat, the humidity, the endless energy of excited kids, and enough sweat to fill a swimming pool! 😅

They taught Bible lessons, led worship, played games, handed out snacks, comforted little hearts, shared the love of Jesus, and made every child feel seen and loved. They poured themselves out so that others could hear about the Light of the World.

The harvest we prayed for showed up… and our volunteers were ready. 🌾✨

“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9

To every teacher, crew leader, game leader, registration helper, snack server, decorator, music team member, and behind-the-scenes volunteer… thank you for answering God’s call. Your impact reaches far beyond these five nights.

And now for the question everyone is wondering… 🤔

How many times do you think we washed our squad shirts this week? 😂👕💦

Thank you for loving our kids, loving our church, and most of all, loving Jesus. You are appreciated more than words can say!

What an AMAZING week God has given us!

Tonight we celebrated all that God has done through Illumination Station. Hearts were touched, Bible verses were hidden in young hearts, friendships were made, and we watched the light of Jesus shine brighter every single night.

📖 “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105

To every volunteer who gave your time, energy, prayers, creativity, and love—THANK YOU. You have planted seeds that will continue to grow long after VBS has ended.

To every child who came… thank you for bringing your excitement, curiosity, laughter, and joy. We pray you’ll continue to walk in the light of Jesus every day.

And to our church family, thank you for praying, supporting, donating, and believing in the next generation. We truly saw the harvest God prepared!

💛 Remember, the lights may be turned off at Illumination Station, but the Light of the World never stops shining. Let’s keep sharing His light wherever we go.

What an incredible night we’ve had shining the light of Jesus together! 🌟 From exciting games and creative crafts to uplifting worship and Bible adventures, our hearts are being reminded that Jesus is the Light of the World!

Every smile, every act of kindness, and every word of love is a chance to reflect God’s light to the world around us. 💛

📖 Tonight we had a special song at closing where we closed our eyes and thought about all God has given us and all He does for us! I’d encourage you to take a few minutes and do that too 🙏🏻 …the song is Thank you Jesus for the Blood Applied by Charity Gayle.

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing volunteers, parents, and kids for making Night 4 so special! We can’t wait to finish our week strong tomorrow!

What an incredible night as we continued discovering that Jesus is the Light of the World! 💡❤️

Tonight, our kids learned that Jesus gives us hope that shines in every situation. No matter how dark life may seem, His light never goes out!

🌟 We laughed.
🎨 We created.
🎶 We worshiped.
📖 We learned more about God’s amazing love.

Thank you to every volunteer, parent, and child who made tonight so special. We can’t wait to see what God has in store for Night 4!
