A Prayer for the School Year Ahead

Lord, we are so grateful for every teacher, school worker, and student as they begin a new school year. We pray that each day they would feel Your love surrounding them and Your strength carrying them through every task and challenge ahead.

Help them to be a blessing and a light to every person they encounter. Guard their hearts and minds, and in the midst of busy schedules and chaotic moments, help them keep their eyes focused on You. Let them remember that YOU are the source of everything they need.

Lord, we ask for Your protection over them. Keep them safe, give them wisdom, strength, patience, and peace throughout the school year.

May they shine brightly for You wherever they go. ❤️

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

School is almost here. And God is already there. 🏫🔥
Summer is wrapping up and you are not the same person you were in June. Your encounter with God was real. The yes you said at camp was real. Now it's time to carry it through the doors of your school and your classroom.
Show up. Stay on fire. Be the student on your campus that points everyone around you to Jesus.

Just a few random photos of our God Squad, House Youth, family! ❤️

Some of these students have now graduated. Some are seniors this year. Some can only make it on Sundays, some can only make it on Wednesdays, and some are discovering that having a job means your boss doesn't check the youth group calendar. 😅

There are also a few faces missing from this picture (camera dodgers 👀) and we're excited to welcome brand new faces this year—students starting middle school, families new to the area, and anyone looking for a place to belong.

No matter where they are in life, one thing never changes: we love every one of these students, and we're praying for them as they head into a new school year or whatever adventure is ahead. We can't wait to see what God has in store!

And can we just say... we've REALLY missed our Wednesday nights! We're counting down the days until we're all back together.
