Have you ever prayed for revival? Not a scheduled meeting with a visiting evangelist, but real revival. A time when church folk get realigned with scripture and each other, a time when sin feels wrong again. Charles Finney said, revival is renewed conviction of sin and a intense desire to please the Lord. Revival isn't cheap and Revival isn't easy. The cost is High, the results are eternal and the effects last for generations. I prayed Wednesday night as I closed the service at Mtn City Baptist Church, Lord please send revival to this place, let it start right here. I honestly felt something as I prayed those words. Mtn City, Johnson County needs revival, when liquor and sin and swinging becomes normal we need revival. I want my grand babies to grow up around old time religion. Lord help us to stand and proclaim your Truth. I love my town, I love this County. The recipe for revival hasn't changed. Are we willing to pay the cost?

Had a new pulpit and communion table built for the church since our last one went to the Gulf of America. Thank you Bro Chris Vannoy, Ms Donna Vannoy and Jonathan Vannoy. It turned out great. Happy 4th to everyone. Thank God for the freedom we have to worship our Savior.

Thank you to the children at Dyson Grove Baptist Church, they took up money at Bible school to buy us a keyboard for the church. Very much appreciated. We are reminded every day that the Lord owns it all and supply our every need. Thank you Bro Leonard and Ms Linda for bringing it by this morning.
