Troop 43 headed to Boundary Waters yesterday morning! They watched fireworks over Lake Superior to celebrate the 4th and continued on their way this morning.

Our last few days at summer camp at Famous Eagle were full! We had Scouts finishing up merit badges, new Scouts selected for the Order of the Arrow, participants in the mile swim (and the best cheering section in camp), and a Scout that won the Top Shot competition.

Most of our Scouts chose to sleep under the stars on Friday night and we packed it all up in record time on Saturday morning!

We have such a great group of Scouts in Troop 43! They showed up for each other the whole week and were complimented by staff on more than one occasion for their support of one another and their respectful behavior.

Wrapped up our summer camp week and said goodbye to our fantastic Troop Counselor, Jayvon! He did an amazing job of making sure our troop felt welcomed and was taken care of the whole week.

Summer Camp Day 4 - scouts are still working away at merit badges, got to try their hand at axe throwing, got some fishing in, and participated in a sand volleyball tournament.

Summer Camp Day 3 - our scouts and leaders are keeping busy! More merit badges, Huck’s Cove, and two of our scouts completed their wilderness survival overnight.
