✨ Why bring your kids to VBS? ✨
πŸ’‘ Jesus is the Light of the World!

This week is more than games and crafts (though there will be plenty of fun!) β€” it’s about planting seeds of faith that can last a lifetime. It’s about helping kids discover who Jesus really is and reminding them they never have to walk through life alone.
β€œAnd anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.” β€” John 8:12

We would love for your child to join us for the brightest week of the year.

DAILY BIBLE READING FOR JUNE 15:

Proverbs 29-31; 1 Thess 4:

He who is often reproved, yet stiffens his neck, will suddenly be broken beyond healing. When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan. He who loves wisdom makes his father glad, but a companion of prostitutes squanders his wealth. By justice a king buil...

We have been walking through what it means to become what we were saved to be, In Christ. Paul has been building a case from the very first chapter: you have been chosen, redeemed, sealed, and raised with Christ. Now he is asking a pointed question: 'What does that new life actually look like? A life lived out in the world, in your home, in your relationships, and in the hard moments. Paul answers that question in Ephesians Chapter 5. And the answer is one word. Love.

DAILY BIBLE READING FOR JUNE 12:

Proverbs 26-28; 1 Thess 3:

Like snow in summer or rain in harvest, so honor is not fitting for a fool. Like a sparrow in its flitting, like a swallow in its flying, a curse that is causeless does not alight. A whip for the horse, a bridle for the donkey, and a rod for the back of fools. Answer not a fool according to his foll...

DAILY BIBLE READING FOR JUNE 11:

Proverbs 24-25; Ps 41; 1 Thess 2:

Be not envious of evil men, nor desire to be with them, for their hearts devise violence, and their lips talk of trouble. By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. A wise man is full of strength, and a...

The disciples have just heard Jesus describe the world's hatred, the cost of following Him, the grief of watching people reject the light. And right here, Jesus calls back to the same promise He already made. THe gift of the Holy Spirit. This is the promise that makes their mission and ours possible in the face of everything Jesus described.
