It saddens me to inform you that Our Beloved Imam, Scholar, Husband,father, grandfather and Friend to The Muslim Community Imam Qasim Ahmed has returned to Allah. Surely our community has lose a Major library. He has demonstrated though years of service to love Allah (swt), our Prophet ( Pbuh) and Imam W. D. Mohammed (ra) and our community. He has encouraged us to Love Qur'anic Arabic and love the Qur'an. May Allah forgive him of his sins, shortcomings errors and mistake and Grant him the Best of the Garden. Ameen

Alllah has bless the various Muslim communities inn the city of Mount Vernon , NY to have their first Iftaar, sponsored the Mayor's Office.
This invitation came as a result of the Mayor's Office recognizing the dedicated and consistent work being done by Imam Musa Y. Abdul Ali, (resident Imam) and the Believers of the Yusuf Shah Islamic Center, formerly known as Masjid Yusuf Shah to improve the lives of the productive citizens of the city of Mount Vernon.
Another testimony to the the Believers following the leadership and direction of Imam W.D. Mohammed.
