What a beautiful and joy-filled Sunday last week at FCC! 💙 We celebrated 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗼𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 and 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗪𝗲𝘀 𝗝𝗲𝘁𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, officially uniting as a family alongside his wife, Kayla—who has been a longtime member of FCC—and their one-year-old daughter, Ella.

Moments like these remind us that God is still moving, calling hearts, and bringing families together in faith. We are so thankful for what God is doing in their lives and grateful to walk this journey with them. Join us in celebrating and praising God for these meaningful steps of faith! 🙌

New journeys don’t just change our direction—they shape who we are becoming. This week, we’re reminded that following God means embracing a new identity and living as a new community together.

God didn’t bring Israel out of Egypt just to give them rules—He brought them out to shape them into a people who belong to Him. At Sinai, God formed a covenant community, and Jesus later reminds us that the heart of God’s law is love: love for God and love for others.
