CleftRock cleftRock Christian Ministries ministers to those who minister to others. "The apostles gathered around Jesus and reported to him all they had done and taught.

cleftRock is a unique place nestled in the woods, set apart to God, where people can take a break from their world and draw near to Him...a sanctuary for those needing a time of rest and spiritual refreshment. We are committed to strengthening the Body of Christ in order to more effectively carry out the message of grace and truth to the world. Our desire is that every guest leaves cleftRock replenished and better equipped to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, He said to them, ‘Come away with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.’”
—Mark 6:30-31

Throughout the year, cleftRock Retreat Center may have occasional opportunities for weekend kitchen help as we serve meals to guests at events.

If you have a heart for serving others and would enjoy being part of creating a welcoming, peaceful environment for our guests, this may be a wonderful opportunity to serve alongside our ministry staff.

If this is something you would be interested in, we would love to hear from you. Please email us for more information. [email protected]

Here are some of the recent comments from retreat guests who shared encouraging words about their time at cleftRock:

“It’s a really special space you all have cultivated. We were in need of spiritual refreshment, and we left with such a sweet sense of renewal.”

“It exceeded my expectations. I imagined a retreat center that felt like camping, but this was a retreat center that made me feel cherished and gave me space to relax and lean in to God.”

“The lodging was much nicer than typical camp accommodations that we often get for church retreats. The food was excellent, and the staff were so kind and helpful!”

Lord, thank You for Your Spirit that meets us when we slow down and look to Your light. As we enter 2026, we pray for cleftRock to be a Spirit-filled gathering place, a refuge, and a comfort. We want to minister to groups, couples, and individuals who feel the pull to draw nearer to You. We long to see pastors and missionaries and their families be refueled and restored here. Lord, we ask for You to send partners to cleftRock who will join this ministry with their resources. For all the years cleftRock has been a warm reminder of Your love and light, oh, how we thank You!
