WVS District had over 100 teens just returned home from an incredible week at the NYC2026 Conference in Salt Lake City.

Experiences like these are often life-changing. Teens sense God’s call, their faith is strengthened, and they encounter Him in ways that are hard to put into words.

Now they’re back in their local churches, and that’s where discipleship becomes so important. How do we help them understand God’s calling, grow deeper in their faith, and take their next steps with Christ?

Pastoring After Mountaintop Moments is a three-week webinar presented by Dr. Hannah Jones-Nelson, youth pastor at Flint Central Church of the Nazarene in Michigan, designed to help you lead students well in the ordinary weeks after the mountaintop.

Week 1 explores implementing spiritual practices, week 2 looks at continued formation, and week 3 addresses pastoring students who are exploring a call to ministry.

With an overwhelming response for Primary Camp we have more girls registered than the dorm can house.

This week we need to do some work & cleaning in Acton Hall so we can utilize it.

We need volunteers to come to camp Tuesday morning so we can get this done.

Lunch will be provided. Please let Tina Cartwright or Brenda Koontz know if we can count on you.

Congrats to all our WV South Bible quizzers today! 🙌🏻

They represented our district well at the Field Quiz at Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

We are so proud of all the work they put into learning this past year in the book of Genesis.

Hey, Kids!

As the Holiness Summit kicks off tomorrow at Hurricane First we wanted to make sure you knew that there is something just for you too!

During the evening services there will be a class focusing on “Holiness “Super” Heroes of the Bible” for 1st-5th graders led by Rev. Ryan Ramey and Rev. Bethany Carr.

Nursery will also be provided for younger kids.
