🍁⏰ To Everything There Is a Season… Even a Season to FALL BACK! ⏰🍁

Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us:

📖 “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”

🍂 A time to spring forward…
🍁 A time to fall back…
😴 And a time to enjoy that EXTRA HOUR of sleep!

Don’t forget to turn your clocks BACK one hour tonight! ⏰

And while the clocks may change, one thing never will… God’s love for you! ❤️

Enjoy that extra hour of rest, and we’ll see you Sunday morning at 9:00 AM at New Vision Community Church!

When you open your Bible, what are you looking for?

So often, we read Scripture and immediately look for ourselves. How does this apply to MY life? What does this mean for ME? How can this help with what I’M going through?

And while God’s Word absolutely speaks into our lives, sometimes we’re so busy looking for ourselves that we miss the most important part… GOD!

Who is God showing us He is in this passage? What does it reveal about His character, His love, His faithfulness, or His promises?

The Bible isn’t just a book about us and how we should live. It’s the story of GOD and His incredible love for His people!

And the same God who was working in the lives of people throughout Scripture is still working today!

Sometimes we get so focused on what God hasn’t done yet that we overlook everything He is already doing.

❤️ So here’s my challenge for you today:

The next time you open your Bible, before asking, “What does this mean for me?” ask, “God, what are You showing me about YOU?”

And as you go about your day, take a moment to look around.

🌿 Our next ROOTED Women’s Group is coming up! 🌿

We’ll be diving into the first chapter of Bad Girls of the Bible by Liz Curtis Higgs—and oh, it’s SO good! ❤️

One of the things I’m most excited about is hearing what God has placed on each woman’s heart through this study. We all come with different stories and experiences, and there is so much we can learn from God’s Word and from one another.

And ladies—there is PLENTY of room for you! 💕 You didn’t have to attend our first meeting to join us. Come as you are, bring your Bible and book if you have them, and join us around the table. If you can’t make it in person send us a message. We can send you the link to join virtually.

What a blessing to see our community come together to lift up our school, students, teachers, staff, and community in prayer.

TOMORROW IS THE DAY!!

Our very first R.O.O.T.E.D. Women’s Group is tomorrow night, and I am so excited to see what God has in store for this group of women! ❤️

So what is R.O.O.T.E.D.?

Rooted in the Word. Growing together. Serving others.

R — Read God’s Word
O — Obey Christ
O — Offer Support
T — Touch lives through service
E — Encourage one another
D — Disciple others

We’ll be starting our study of Bad Girls of the Bible by Liz Curtis Higgs. The book is available in paperback, digital, and audiobook, so choose whatever works best for you!

📖 Bring your Bible
🧀 Bring a Board if you’d like — charcuterie, snacks, desserts… whatever you want!
❤️ And most importantly, just bring yourself!

Our hope for ROOTED is that this becomes so much more than just another Bible study. I hope we laugh together, learn together, pray for one another, serve together, and build friendships along the way.

But more than anything, I pray that every woman who joins us walks away knowing just how deeply JESUS LOVES HER. ❤️
