-8:30 a.m.: A prayer service by Fr. Danny Fister will be held at Calvary Cemetery at Fr. Norman’s gravesite
-The mayor will do a kick off announcement that will be sent to the tv stations
-Businesses around Lexington will be giving a percentage off or a free something IF you wear your 2025 or 2026 Fr. Norman Fischer Day t-shirt!

What a blessed day we shared today in our parish, as both the English-speaking and Hispanic communities came together to give thanks to our priests for their many years of faithful service.

It was truly a blessing to see all of our ministries gathered as one family: altar servers, catechists for adults and children, musicians and choir members, the Little Way Sisters, volunteers for Holy Hour and the Rosary, members of the Parish Council, and so many others sharing fellowship together.

Through the Mass, the potluck meal, words of gratitude, and prayer, we celebrated as one Church united in faith.

We now look forward to warmly welcoming the new priests who will accompany us on our journey of faith.

¡Qué día tan bendecido hemos vivido hoy en nuestra parroquia, compartiendo juntos las comunidades anglo e hispana para dar gracias a nuestros sacerdotes por tantos años de servicio y entrega!

Fue una bendición ver reunidos a tantos grupos y ministerios: servidores del altar, catequistas de adultos y niños, músicos y cantores, Hermanas del Pequeño Camino, servidores de la Hora Santa y del Rosario, miembros del Consejo Parroquial y muchos más, todos compartiendo como una gran familia.

La Santa Misa, el potluck, las palabras de agradecimiento y el compartir fraterno nos permitieron celebrar como una sola Iglesia, unida en la fe y la oración.

Desde ya esperamos con alegría dar la bienvenida a los nuevos sacerdotes que nos acompañarán en nuestro caminar de fe.
