Our KY team of 18 had a great week at Laurel Mission! We helped at 2 houses putting on siding, starting a porch roof, painted under skirting, did some electrical work, had a food giveaway, organized the clothing store and food pantry, painted the new kitchen addition to the church, painted shiplap for one of the houses, put down flooring in the attic of the new food pantry and several other small projects. Thank you to all those that donated food, money and prayed for a successful trip!

Way to go Vacation Bible School youth!

As we get ready to celebrate the Fourth of July, we want to share a quick heads-up with our wonderful community.

Our Admin Office and Thrift Stores will be closed Friday and Saturday for the holiday weekend.

We're so grateful for each of you who walks through our doors, shops with us, and supports the work we do together. You make this community something truly special.

So, get ready to fire up the grill, enjoy the fireworks, and soak up every moment with the people you love. Please stay safe our admin office and Waynesboro Thrift Store will be back in operation Monday July 6th.

Shout out to Sangersville Community Vacation Bible School for your well thought out hygiene items for our residents!

The community had a great week of Vacation Bible School! The kids raised over $500 for the Mt. Solon Fire & Rescue. The middle school kids picked up trash in the river, helped cleanup debris from a house fire, painted at the WRE buildings at North River and Churchville and made hygiene bags for the Valley Mission. They also had fun camping out and swimming at Todd Lake. Thanks to all the volunteers that made the week possible.

Thanks to the 20 men, women and youth that came out this morning for clean-up day! We picked up trash along the highway, pressure washed the church, cleaned out the gutters, cut down/trimmed trees, removed stumps, planted grass, pulled weeds, replaced flower bed timbers, repaired a deck and more! Everything looks great and your time is appreciated!
