Have you heard about the Armor of God?
Ephesians 6:11
“Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes”
What devil's schemes?
Just like we see in the book of Job 1:7, Daniel 10:12-13, Jude 1:8-9, Ephesians 2:2, and many more examples in the Bible!
If there wasn’t a battle for you, then why would God advise us in Ephesians to put on the “Full Armor Of God”?
You see, the battle has always been there. From the very beginning with Adam, the devil schemed to get us away from God…
To lose our relationship with God…
But Paul warned us in the new testament “ For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. “Epehsians 10:12
Then he went on to give us directions on what the armor of God is…
Belt of Truth.
Breastplate of Righteousness.
Gospel of Peace.
The Shield of Faith.
The Helmet of Salvation.
The Sword of the Spirit.
And Prayer…
As you notice some of those items above are for your defense, but other items are for offense! Meaning you have to fight…
The sword of the spirit, and prayer are active actions. It takes you to actively fight for yourself.
But guess what?
You’re not alone!
As a fellow Christian we fight alongside you! In the authority of Jesus Christ we take command of any evil spirits against you. Any and all spirits against you shall be removed this very moment in the mighty name of Jesus Chirst!
Listen, not only did God give us his full armor but Jesus gave us his full authority to do great things; “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father..” John 14:12
I pray that you put on the Armor Of God, each and everyday.
