Good morning, Rising to one and ALL!

Just in case you haven't heard, don't know, and/or have been trying to get in touch with me, here are a few things you should know:

1. My telephone is no longer my friend -- I got a replacement phone yesterday, and data from my old phone did not transfer properly, and a lot of my data was LOST! Please call me to talk, email me if you have information to share, or stop by for an in-person visit. NOTE: As of this morning, my new phone says that it will be ready in 17 hours! LOL

2. My car is not in the driveway -- my eyesight is now deemed low vision, and not good enough for me to drive, not even in the daytime. Those on this journey with me know that my sight has lasted long past the predicted six months initially given almost twenty (20) years ago, so rejoice with me: I CAN STILL SEE, can no longer drive, and may be calling you for a ride to get to my destinations. ALL volunteer rides/drivers accepted.

3. Text messaging is still going on -- if you are used to getting my almost daily text messages, they will still be sent almost daily; however, I may miss a day here and there. If you are one of the recipients, you are invited to respond if you are so inclined. You can also decide not to remain in the text-messaging part of my life. NOTE: Text messaging is not a group effort. Each text message is sent to each person individually, with few exceptions. Now I can't tell who's in a group text, so you may get duplicates. FEEL FREE TO DELETE, DELETE, DELETE.

AND

4. The Front Porch Ministries (TFPM) has reorganized itself to some degree -- food is still being donated, school supplies will still be collected and donated, and the adopt-a-family Christmas program will continue to operate. At this point, the biggest change is the weekly availability of food, although families in crisis for food SHOULD CONTACT ME ASAP. We will obtain resources to ensure residents do not go without food. Also, diapers and adult wear will no longer be available. These changes are necessary because my volunteer team is no longer available for various reasons, and some of my suppliers are no longer in business.

Just a heads-up, and answers to lots of inquiries.

HELLO, HELLO!

The YMCA and THE FRONT PORCH MINISTRIES (TFPM) have LOTS of

1. Carrots -- at least two LARGE BSGS
2. Celery -- cases of this vegetable, and
3. Zucchini Squash

Available on a first-come, first-served basis. ALL ITEMS need to be picked up TODAY if possible because we will get new food items this week, AND WE DO NOT WISH TO WASTE what we have.

FOOD ITEMS CAN BE PICKED UP FROM BOTH LOCATIONS

You may take SOME OR TAKE IT ALL OR as much as you can CARRY AWAY!

It's Friday morning!! Happy Friday to all of you. Start your day by stopping by The Front Porch Ministries (TFPM) and picking up some fresh celery, zucchini, and a few carrots.

PLEASE COME AND GET the veggies, even if you picked up some yesterday. THE GOAL is not to let the food go to the dump, but to get eaten by those in NEED or those who want to try something different for FREE!

It is Thursday afternoon (1:30ish), and there is food at The Front Porch Ministries (TFPM)!

Here's what's out there:

Lots of celery

Lots of zucchini squash and

about eight LARGE cabbages.

There are also some flaming chips.

Come NOW and take some, and leave some for your neighbors.

If you have a bag, please bring it with you. There are a FEW bags out there.

AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY and AVAILABLE UNTIL GONE: two bins of bananas and two bins of tangerines/cuties.

Please come and take some. The bananas are in clusters of two, three, and four. Please take ONE CLUSTER of three or four, and ONLY TWO of the two clusters. If you do this, a lot of your neighbors will be able to get some fresh fruit today.

Please limit yourself to FIVE of the tangerines/cuties. They are small, but there are only TWO bins of them.

There are still a few bags out there, but if you have a bag, please bring it.

Well, it is Thursday and almost the end of the week, AND GUESS WHAT?

The Front Porch Ministries received :
1. 50-pound bag of onions
2. Bread. amd
3. sweets

PLEASE COME and get some of these items for your household. As always, these items are free and are given on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants are also asked to TAKE SOME and LEAVE some for your neighbors, many of whom are struggling to make ends meet.

There are some bags out there, but if you bring your own, you'll make sure someone else has a bag.

MPTE" Bread types include loaf, bagels, croissants, and jpt dpg and hamburger buns.

All of the carrots are GONE, but there is still one Blue bin of onions!Please come and pick some up!

There are still LOTS of carrots and onions to be had at The Font Porch Ministries.

PLEASE come and pick some up. The carrots are large and GREAT for juicing. The onions are HUGE and great for making onion rings.

There is bread out there, too.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CLOSE THE BINS WHEN YOU FINISH!
